I'm ready for Disc#3: track #7 - When it's time(warning demo version)

I noticed in the description of the official music video for Warning that Youtube recognises the song as Warning (2025 Remaster) The live performance of Blood sex and Booze on the howard stern show is also being recognised as part of a 2025 Remaster The Waiting music video is being recognised as Waiting (Otis Mix) Macy's Day Parade also being recognised as part of a 2025 Remaster Maybe we are getting something for the 25th anniversary of Warning?

The end of September timing is perfect for marketing this one. I imagine the post will start with “Wake up!!! Better thank your lucky stars! Warning is 25!!”

I literally nearly knocked myself out during Suzie Chapstick and had to sit down afterwards. It is safe to say that was the highlight. The gambler next to me had won a ticket and she was so pissed off she had this maniac next to her. Every time I jumped she glared. I'm sure she REALLY enjoyed my performance of Suzie. 💅 That was worth every penny of the $720 I paid for that stupidly expensive ticket and the airfare and everything. I did also win nearly $160 with the free plays I got for buying the ticket 💰💰💰 Obviously everything was amazing, but I will never forget (or get over?) hearing Suzie Chapstick in full at that moment in my life. When I was 15, I heard the most meaningful song to me (¡Viva La Gloria!) at the last show of my first Green Day tour. Now I'm 30 and I heard the most meaningful song to me (Suzie Chapstick) at the last show of my first tour back after walking away for a while. So glad I got to hear American Dream again. It's incredible live. Security gave my friend a setlist on the way out. I squealed because I was so happy for her and then they gave me one too. I also picked up enough confetti to sink a ship even though it was just plain stuff. Oh also Billie ran onto the stage during Bohemian Rhapsody. AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I just wish there was a bit more added value, y’know? Demos and alternative mixes are cool and pique curiosity, but are they really like “oh yeah, I’m gonna go and listen to that demo of Deadbeat Holiday again”. Not for me, because 95% of the time they’re not the superior version. (Rusty James, Baby Eyes and Missing You from Demolicious is the exception, obvs.) I wish they bundled songs that didn’t make the cut more. The Nimrod release nailed this. And also, $150 is, and always will be a fucking insane price point.

I can't believe it, I'm just totally overwhelmed, absolutely gobsmacked with this awesome band of ours. Since Jan' '23, We've had 3 box sets, now talk of 4th, and awesome new studio album, plus deluxe version, a world tour extended as usual meeting old and new friends at live shows, surprise shows, and to cap it all the return of Pinhead Gunpowder. GD just can't stop giving. Thanks GD luv yer. ❤️

Green Day website was down yesterday. Probably editing the website for the Warning release. Not gonna be surprised if it's coming after their last show tomorrow.

According to someone on Reddit, Billie said at Ohana in relation to the end of the Saviors tour: "We'll be back sooner rather than later." I like that!!!

Hope it's another anniversary release like Dookie and American Idiot, it would be cool to hear Warning Demos and a concert from that era get released!

When you go through the setlist of every Saviors concert you attended last year (full album shows), to choose a favorite one, and then you compile it on Spotify (including Bohemian Rhapsody, Blitzkrieg Bop, The Imperial March and We Will Rock you -- wish I had the actual mashup they use in the concerts though -- at the beginning) and are super excited to find out it is just long enough for you to complete the race you are running next weekend. Now this will be my motivation for staying on my target pace 😂 (and appropriately enough, I will be running in Lyon to the Lyon setlist).

I don’t understand how people could be mad about someone dancing at a concert. Were you in the flat seated area right in front or the raised seats just above that?

Please no one get mad when I say this hahaha. I bought a $150 ticket off someone on reddit. The seats were WAYYY IN THE BACK. I only did seats once during my first show ever(RevRad). My new friend (just met her a few days prior at Ohana!!!) was like a row above mine(we could hardly see lol) me and her got the bright idea "all the people in the front are rich gamblers let's try and sneak to the front." We had to move around 3 times😆 the 3rd time security did not move us. And no we made sure we didn't take anyones seat no one else came to the row we were. We stayed in the 3rd seat row(standing up ofc haha) near Jason's side when we finally didn't get caught. bc one, the boys needed some energy up there, two, no one else had GD shirts except a few others up there it was mostly the gamblers😭😭😭, 3, those tickets were hella expensive, and 4... Billie noticed us alot bc we were rocking out and everyone else was either standing still or sitting... we got removed by security the first 2 times bc someone got mad we were dancing hahaha

Pre-ordered the CD set because of course I’m getting this. I already have a Warning t-shirt and sweatshirt from the last merch drop so not sure if I’ll be buying more wearable merch this time around. Hope I don’t see anything new that I gotta have anyway. But I do love Warning 💚

Is it weird that out of all of them I’m most excited about this one so far? I’m pretty deep into this and I didn’t even know there were Warning demos. 5 years ago I thought we’d get Dookie and AI boxes eventually, maybe Nimrod if I got my hopes up. But never Warning. I just listened to it again last night because of all the hullabaloo and holy shit is it a solid album. I’d do horrible, unforgivable things to hear Castaway live or even Waiting. I have been warned.

While I’m glad we are getting something for the anniversary since they do seem to overlook Warning but if the Castaway demo is any indication these are probably the last stage demos the “ok this is it next stop the studio” demos cause castaway doesn’t sound that much different than the album one I personally would prefer early in the stage demos like we got with some of the Nimrod demos

I believe Suffocate is being included because it was on one of the CD singles from the album. It looks like they're just including all studio tracks from each physical single. But yeah, if this is the tracklist, I'm probably not going to buy a physical copy. I'll just purchase the demos digitally. Like everyone else I was hoping for unreleased album session tracks. However, I think the version of Clusterbomb from the Warning sessions is the one we got on the AI20 boxset. Billie's voice sounds the same as on the Warning album and the guitar tone is similar as well.

I'm quite curious to hear the Church on Sunday demo, and see how the song evolved from Black Eyeliner to the final Church on Sunday version that we got in Warning. Also a bit disappointed that there seem to be no new songs though. But we'll have to wait and see how different the demos are from the final version, there could be some interesting stuff in there.

🥹 Believe me, every time I saw some of the folks selling a ticket on instagram I was tempted to buy it and go. But there was just no way for me make it work with work commitments and other personal commitments. I'm so happy they finally played it though and enjoying every single video that has come out of it, and singing along with them as if I was there I KNOW RIGHT?!!! Still can't get over it.

I AM SO JEALOUS!!!!!!!!!!! FANCY SAUCE?? Be still, my heart! It sounds sooooo good live (as I figured it would). Would love for them to keep this in the setlist for a bit. It's a great replacement for Good Riddance. Thank you to the kind soul who captured the full performance and shared it.

Really happy for you, what an amazing time, thank you so much for sharing. Really appreciate it. I know your head wasn't happy with the cost, but your heart will cherish the memory of being there for rest of your life. Really love hearing about fans experiences seeing GD live either in a story and or with photos. Could almost feel I was there. And thanks to everyone for sharing throughout this amazing Saviors tour. Another reason that makes this site so special.

Yes, it's basically confirmed at this point. The band haven't said anything yet but it's looking like it's definitely true and will be announced on October 3rd. The actual anniversary album won't be released until later but we should get the first "single" release on October 3rd which will probably consist of a demo, bonus track and/or a live track

Suzie Chapstick (in full)

Castaway demo weirdly sounds like it was pitched up half a step in post. It doesn't sound like it was recorded in C. You can tell by his voice sounding all squeaky. Not sure if that was done by leaker so they would avoid legal issues or what. I don't see why would the band do it on purpose. Or maybe I'm just delusional. They obviously had the whole song already worked out by the time this demo was recorded. It's pretty much the same as on the album. Still sounds cool. After all of the anniversaries and box sets in the last couple of years, I honestly doubted that Warning's anniversary would be acknowledged. I love it and I'm beyond excited! btw. if this is the real cover, I'm not a fan of fluorescent green. It all kind of looks like it was made in Paint. It's too bad since Warning era in general had awesome artwork, fonts and colors.

My hope is that Fancy Sauce becomes the equivalent of Letterbomb for this album: regrettably ignored during its album tour, but a fairly frequent appearance in concerts a couple of albums/tours later.

Family time has always been important to the band members. But the pull of seeing their fans and playing their music is so strong, they won't be away for long.

Roseland Ballroom would be a dream, but I think they will go with one of the japanese shows of tune in, tokyo. All of them are recorded but some of them are unfit for release.

I heard rumors about this coming a while ago so it's nice to see it is actually coming!
