  1. I have a lovely Polish gentleman painting the outside of my house. He came in to the kitchen, saw my Saviors listening party poster and said, “Green Day, great band, one of my favourites”. We talk music every day and he showed me some pics from a friend of his taken in 1991 when green Day first went to Poland.

  3. You know you're a fangirl when you're sending inspiration pics to an artist for a (non-GD) tattoo and accidentally attach a picture of Kevin kissing Billie. 😳 I love ya boys, but wasn't planning on getting that tattooed. 😂

  4. Just come back from the village store. There's a kid's basketball court nearby and they were shouting " Longshot, Longshot, Longshot!" You know what it made me think of

  5. Am I the only one who thinks that this whole Wonderwall “incident“ is being blown massively out of proportion? BJ laughed it off, Liam wrote a silly tweet about it, that’s it. Now I’m seeing all these posts that turn it into a something big, which it really wasn’t. Why do we have to take everything so damn seriously, and why do people get angry about literally everything? 😅

  6. As you guys know they filmed Wembley last year with a lot of effort. Would be a waste of money not to release that footage.

  7. Live albums are for fans, and fans don't want other versión of american idiot, basket case, BOBD or know your enemy....we want rare played songs, old recycled songs. Hope GD think about us in their Next live album.

  8. You know I'm going to say it. It was amazing. It was surreal seeing them in front of me and not in front of a screen. I still have not realized this. They played every song I wanted to hear live after all these years not that whatever they played I wouldn't sing along and be jumping around. The summer here is very warm, we're talking about 40 degrees and we were there in the hot concrete since 3pm with the sun burning on our backs. But at the end of the day I was in the very front and could see our boys clearly so it was all worth it. I really had the time of my life.

  9. Can't believe the Good Riddance thing has had this much attention. I posted my video thinking it was harmlessly funny, but I kind of wish I hadn't now because yes, it's been blown out of proportion. The kid is 14. It was very obvious he was nervous and there was possibly a language barrier. Even if it was intentional trolling, it was funny and didn't come across as anything more. Billie wasn't angry and I think most fans were glad it meant they got to hear Billie playing it 😂 It was also funny when someone held up a sign in Amsterdam and Billie read it, then said 'I'M playing Good Riddance.' Didn't we all do stupid shit at 14?

  10. I'm so excited - I just took the plunge and bought a Sunday ticket for Riot Fest! Flights are now booked, so I'll be coming over from Ireland for this one I was supposed to see GD in Vienna back in June, but I was unwell at the time so unfortunately had to cancel my trip so I'm delighted that I'm going to make up for it in Chicago (first time in the Windy City, and first time seeing GD in the USA).

  15. I was in the car yesterday listening to Lithium on Sirius and they played a little radio bump from Billie! He was talking about they wanted to broaden their sound on Nimrod and then they played Redundant. I was so excited! I squealed HI BILLIE 😆 my bf asked where Mike "Durst" was 😮‍💨

  16. Kill the DJ is extremely far for being in my usual Green Day favorite songs, but damn, I love it when it comes up while I'm running. I think it might be my favorite song to run to 😅

  17. It's fascinating! Into GD now for one and a half year and still finding great "new" things: Poprocks and Coke is such a cute song!🥰

  18. Out of the blue my mom texts me "hey...does Green Day have a song called Underdog?" She just saw the Nat geo ad! 😆 She said she recognized Billie's voice and was like I don't know that Green Day song!! Love that she knows Billie's name and recognizes his voice but refers to Mike and Tre as Mike Dirt and the other one...Mr Cool? 😆

  19. As long as they release a FULL show. I mean I loved BIAB and AAF, but I didn‘t like they cut most of the shows. Would be great if we get a full show like wembley as a Blu Ray and 2 CDs with the full show for streaming/Audio and the 2nd with deep cuts they played during the last leg

  20. I have no willpower, whatever they release I will buy. I will mortgage my home to pay for it, which is really dodgy considering I rent 😐

  23. As well as being blown away listening to GD albums and the euphoria of attending live shows, there's those awesome sessions, GD live in the studio. So many to choose from. My two favs are AOL sessions in New York 2004, visual jaw dropping performance of songs from AI, plus an amazing cover of The Who's "The Kids Are Alright." Not forgetting "Longview" an extended version of "Minority" and band interview at end. Electric. But Imho, the BBC sessions, Maida Studios London, released 2021, including songs from 1994 to 2001 is outstanding. 16 songs on record, plus two not included for some reason, One of My Lies ( my all time fav GD song), and Scattered. The booklet, that came with the record, described in such intimate detail, the recording session. You could almost feel you where there. What an awesome collection.

  30. I‘m not the one who asked for it but I enjoyed reading the interview nevertheless. Thank you for posting the link! Fascinating to read the thoughts of 28 year old Billie. „We‘re not a political band.“ Well, that has changed…

  34. Billie when the kid played Wonderwall instead of Good Riddance 😂😂😂 He’s had so many mishaps I’m surprised he still lets people up to do that. What a sport https://www.instagram.com/reel/DLimKjTt1d4/?igsh=MWxleDd6cnRtOGw1MA==

  38. On Thursday when I went to pick up my wristband early my car almost got towed… Worth it. In all seriousness it was fucking awesome! No Minnesota Girl but they played Youngblood which everyone in the crowd appreciated.

  39. Your welcome. I've always felt that GD excell at covers, and they have done so many. For me 'The Kids Are Alright" are in my top 3, along with "Another State of Mind" and "I Fought The Law". Heaven.

  43. My bank account is happy that there are no other tours / shows in sight, but the rest of me is pretty sad. This tour was so much fun, with the traveling to new cities meeting so many fellow fans, and of course the shows themselves and the deep cuts we got

  44. So inspirational. I remember when I was first getting into Green Day, and I watched Bullet In A Bible for the first time. Watching them put so much emotion into something really inspired me, and it still does today. I remember listening to the instrumental of Boulevard of Broken Dreams when the credits rolled at the end of Bullet In A Bible, and I remember thinking how inspirational and amazing this band is. I love Warning (the album) so much ❤️

  45. It's one of the phone messages that's already been linked here but I remember it, it wasn't to the record label it was a message to update the fans on their progress with the next album. He was saying how they had a bunch of songs but that they weren't going to put out anything they weren't happy with. Then the messages stopped for a while and next thing they talked about was American Idiot. It's cool to listen in order you definitely hear that transition period from Warning to C&V to AI.

  47. After yesterday‘s show I needed to come here. I don’t have photos right now. But if you see some you’ll have to appreciate the short sleeves! And the shirt in itself was great with the print Rage and Love on the back! Besides I liked Billie‘s hair, reminded me of the 21CB era, just in blonde… And Mike in red looked fantastic too!
