  1. I have a lovely Polish gentleman painting the outside of my house. He came in to the kitchen, saw my Saviors listening party poster and said, “Green Day, great band, one of my favourites”. We talk music every day and he showed me some pics from a friend of his taken in 1991 when green Day first went to Poland.

  3. As you guys know they filmed Wembley last year with a lot of effort. Would be a waste of money not to release that footage.

  4. Live albums are for fans, and fans don't want other versión of american idiot, basket case, BOBD or know your enemy....we want rare played songs, old recycled songs. Hope GD think about us in their Next live album.

  5. You know you're a fangirl when you're sending inspiration pics to an artist for a (non-GD) tattoo and accidentally attach a picture of Kevin kissing Billie. 😳 I love ya boys, but wasn't planning on getting that tattooed. 😂

  6. Just come back from the village store. There's a kid's basketball court nearby and they were shouting " Longshot, Longshot, Longshot!" You know what it made me think of

  7. You know I'm going to say it. It was amazing. It was surreal seeing them in front of me and not in front of a screen. I still have not realized this. They played every song I wanted to hear live after all these years not that whatever they played I wouldn't sing along and be jumping around. The summer here is very warm, we're talking about 40 degrees and we were there in the hot concrete since 3pm with the sun burning on our backs. But at the end of the day I was in the very front and could see our boys clearly so it was all worth it. I really had the time of my life.

  8. I'm so excited - I just took the plunge and bought a Sunday ticket for Riot Fest! Flights are now booked, so I'll be coming over from Ireland for this one I was supposed to see GD in Vienna back in June, but I was unwell at the time so unfortunately had to cancel my trip so I'm delighted that I'm going to make up for it in Chicago (first time in the Windy City, and first time seeing GD in the USA).

  11. I had a dream that Green Day was playing a show in Tirana and I was obviously there for it (but in seats?!). Hoping that comes true some day (minus the seats part ).

  13. I was in the car yesterday listening to Lithium on Sirius and they played a little radio bump from Billie! He was talking about they wanted to broaden their sound on Nimrod and then they played Redundant. I was so excited! I squealed HI BILLIE 😆 my bf asked where Mike "Durst" was 😮‍💨

  14. Kill the DJ is extremely far for being in my usual Green Day favorite songs, but damn, I love it when it comes up while I'm running. I think it might be my favorite song to run to 😅

  15. It's fascinating! Into GD now for one and a half year and still finding great "new" things: Poprocks and Coke is such a cute song!🥰

  16. I think this video clearly shows that they recorded the Wembley concert. (the description confirms that) It's the perfect time for a new live album. They're still at their peak, having played their biggest solo show yet, playing Idiot and Dookie in their entirety, plus the release of Saviors. It's the kind of material that needs to be released to demonstrate the scale of this band. I was there, and the atmosphere was completely special, even in the days before the show, with so many people walking the streets wearing Green Day shirts. It felt like 2005 all over again.

  18. My bf called me out the other day. He made fun of my fan girlisms by going "ooo Billie is so hawt. Oh Billie Joe is soooo cute." Glad he thinks so too 😆

  19. As long as they release a FULL show. I mean I loved BIAB and AAF, but I didn‘t like they cut most of the shows. Would be great if we get a full show like wembley as a Blu Ray and 2 CDs with the full show for streaming/Audio and the 2nd with deep cuts they played during the last leg

  24. As well as being blown away listening to GD albums and the euphoria of attending live shows, there's those awesome sessions, GD live in the studio. So many to choose from. My two favs are AOL sessions in New York 2004, visual jaw dropping performance of songs from AI, plus an amazing cover of The Who's "The Kids Are Alright." Not forgetting "Longview" an extended version of "Minority" and band interview at end. Electric. But Imho, the BBC sessions, Maida Studios London, released 2021, including songs from 1994 to 2001 is outstanding. 16 songs on record, plus two not included for some reason, One of My Lies ( my all time fav GD song), and Scattered. The booklet, that came with the record, described in such intimate detail, the recording session. You could almost feel you where there. What an awesome collection.

  32. I‘m not the one who asked for it but I enjoyed reading the interview nevertheless. Thank you for posting the link! Fascinating to read the thoughts of 28 year old Billie. „We‘re not a political band.“ Well, that has changed…

  35. Yes please! I know they record performances without ever releasing them a lot but I want Wembley . Surely they have to put out a live album/film for such a monumental tour and when it's 14 years since the last one

  36. As I’ve said in some other thread, I will be staying at the stage all day. Screw alcohol and food. I will be trying to be as close as possible. And I shall convince Green Day that they need a 4th live guitarist thank you very much.

  40. On Thursday when I went to pick up my wristband early my car almost got towed… Worth it. In all seriousness it was fucking awesome! No Minnesota Girl but they played Youngblood which everyone in the crowd appreciated.

  41. I‘ve got an idea: instead of a deep cut they could play „Hola Canada!“ by PHGP today! Wouldn’t that be funny?

  42. Your welcome. I've always felt that GD excell at covers, and they have done so many. For me 'The Kids Are Alright" are in my top 3, along with "Another State of Mind" and "I Fought The Law". Heaven.

  43. This one has been a long time coming. Arica Pelino asked me about this tape so many times and I could not find it in her magic suitcase, until I moved it to make room for a NEW collection (to be announced tomorrow!). Finally! Sorry for the delay, Arica. This tape is an odd one. It takes place shortly after the band's legendary Woodstock 94 show and Lollapalooza tour as an opener. They are playing CSDH that night (I was there!) and that's around where this happens. Arica says she thinks she taped this off the radio, but it sure sounds like a Pre-FM thing to me. The interviewer's mic is off/distant. Wacky, jet-lagged chaotic interview. Recorded by: Arica? Transfer by: Shayne Stacy Equipment used: Nakamichi Dragon and M-Audio Audiophile 2496 card

  46. My bank account is happy that there are no other tours / shows in sight, but the rest of me is pretty sad. This tour was so much fun, with the traveling to new cities meeting so many fellow fans, and of course the shows themselves and the deep cuts we got

  47. So inspirational. I remember when I was first getting into Green Day, and I watched Bullet In A Bible for the first time. Watching them put so much emotion into something really inspired me, and it still does today. I remember listening to the instrumental of Boulevard of Broken Dreams when the credits rolled at the end of Bullet In A Bible, and I remember thinking how inspirational and amazing this band is. I love Warning (the album) so much ❤️
