  1. Of the many things I've grown to love about GD over the past 30+ years is, expect the unexpected. You never know what the band are planning. They always seem to come up with a surprise or two again and again. And Saviors was no exception. Prior to the new Album's release we got the Nimrod anniversary box set. A new trend that has seen two more since. Also, Pinhead Gunpowder surprised us with a new record. Just like the old days of the '90, when a new GD album was released you got a PG release as well. The awesome Saviors album era and amazing extended tour may be nearing it's end, but the excitement and wonder of following GD never diminishes. Can't wait to see what's coming next.

  2. I would love to finally see an AI movie. Even if Billie has aged out of the St. Jimmy role, they could find some way for the band to have cameo roles

  3. Has this been confirmed @Karol Oliveira ? I've just stumbled on this short article on Rock and Roll Globe. Obviously, nothing concrete. As always living on hope. Warning deserves a special celebration issue in recognition of an amazing album and tour, the latter electric unforgettable live performances. Memories to last a lifetime. Rock and Roll Globe The 25th anniversary of Green Day's album "Warning," released on October 3, 2000, is a significant milestone that highlights the band's evolution and the album's impact on their career. "Warning" was the sixth studio album by Green Day, marking a departure from their earlier punk rock sound by incorporating acoustic elements and a more pop-oriented style. The album features themes of optimism and inspiration, which were a shift from the band's previous works. Despite mixed commercial success, it has been certified gold and has sold over 1.2 million copies in the U.S. and 3.5 million worldwide. 25th Anniversary Celebrations As of now, specific details regarding the celebrations for the 25th anniversary of "Warning" have not been widely publicized. However, fans are hopeful for special releases, such as remastered editions, vinyl reissues, or collections of demos and live performances, similar to "Nimrod 25th. Significance of the Album "Warning" is often seen as a transitional album for Green Day, as it reflects their growth as musicians and songwriters. Tracks like "Minority," "Warning," and "Waiting" showcase their ability to blend catchy melodies with meaningful lyrics. The album's more mature sound paved the way for their later works, including the critically acclaimed "American Idiot." In summary, while specific anniversary events for "Warning" have yet to be announced, the album's 25th anniversary is an opportunity for fans to reflect on.

  8. But you will always have the memories to recall of being there and living through it. It will never leave your heart and soul. Feel so lucky and privileged to see AI at Milton Keynes, and able to live through it again and again visually, with BIAB. Can't believe the adventure and magic goes on, living the dream with GD from Kerplunk and now through Saviors. What next? Bring it on. Life is Green Day. Love is Green Day, nothing else matters.

  9. Welp, I think we can now say fairly safely, no anniversary edition of BIAB Still the dream lives on, I shall live to the day when the whole concert across both nights is released in full 🤞

  10. at the very least they did a interview this time and didnt end up canceling it hopefully we get a Hella Tiny Tour revival sooner considering how they need to make up 3 shows (one from that "tour" and now both of these Q101 shows)

  12. Was anyone able to get in without winning? The Green Day song scramble on Q101 radio was tough to get all 3. Not surprised Billie had to end up doing an interview-- at Riotfest in Chicago last night he lost his voice right in the middle of Jesus of Suburbia of all songs! He pushed through it but I'm glad he's getting some vocal rest today. An interview still sounds awesome, I'm so jealous of anyone who got to see it.

  13. Yeah they didn’t perform at the last one either and it was one of the best interviews they ever did. I guess we’ll have to wait a little longer for an intimate acoustic set

  14. I kinda wondered if that’d be the case when he said he was sick at the show last night. I’m glad they did an interview and photos cause my first thought was “the Q101 lounge can’t catch a break with this band” lol

  15. We were hanging around outside and met some people who were at the event. They didn't perform as Billie is sick so they just did an interview and photos!

  16. I hope Jillie Bow Legweak is in this forum right now, looking through our "ideal setlists" and pulling the most crazed, unhinged nightmare sets we've ever dreamed up. But let's be real. Rock music ain't dangerous and they're gonna play Basketcase and American Idiot and Boulevard of Broken Dreams and then feel so punk rock for playing St Jimmy for the 652nd time. Haha It's all good.

  21. I'm in a nuerodiverent group on Facebook, and I saw a post about Green Day. Someone was panicked, losing their child at a recent Green Day show. And while they were looking, they realized their kid was up on stage with the band having a blast and totally safe! I don't know if the kid sang or played guitar but that was a pretty cool post to see elsewhere. Pictures of Billie hugging their kid and a total happy accident.

  24. Really hard to believe it's been 21 years since American Idiot 🥹 That album will never stop blowing my mind, and I'm forever grateful that I was to lucky to have "found" it when it in my teens, that I got to see it played live in its entirety. Also, 1 year and 10 days since the last time I sawed it played live and at the same time I feel sad knowing I will probably never experience that again 🥺

  25. That cover band was in town again. Tonight I got She, When I come around and Basket Case! 😃 I guess a band knows you’re a Green Day fan when you wear the 2025 tour shirt…

  26. Yeah, it would be cute to have little tattoos on them, heh. I hope they can put Blue on Billie in the Basket Case set, it is the guitar he is playing in the video after all lol

  27. here’s the video about Basketcase themed GD funkos

  28. Maybe they didn’t anticipate putting out more than one series when they designed it. I wonder if this means they sold better than expected. I like the AI ones but they really should have had tattoos on them. It would be nice to have one with Blue.

  29. New Green Day “Basket Case” funko pops are coming out. Getting teased in Spring of 2026 a YouTube funko pop Channel just posted this his favorite band is GD apparently they will be styles from the Basket Case music video. YouTube GD filter most recent and you’ll see the video he announces it at the end.

  35. Spin magazine interview with Lee Kirk contains some spoilers: https://www.spin.com/2025/09/three-kids-one-van-and-green-days-biggest-joke/?fbclid=PAdGRleAM5fOVleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABp3W4LX6v902Subcb9YS6ASPWRQHXw-HmmAmBW9q4nzPlhp_NQ4bHJAFFTSNx_aem_FaGPbonEstsgXGXqNWIHrg He tells the story of how he came to work with Billie for Ordinary World. I don’t remember hearing this story back when they were doing interviews for that film. What’s interesting is that Billie wasn’t his first choice for the role (I wonder who was) but that he was suggested because he and that nameless actor had the same agent. If not for that happy accident, we might not have this movie.

  36. Jaded! Dang it! That first song stumped me really good. @The_real_st_jimmy that stinks you put on hold and didn't win. How in the world are you getting through so many times? Sheer luck? I've only gotten through once....the contest was over by then 😔
    1 point
  37. I'm truly stumped lol Struck out again on day 4. My original guess was NGFL, Good Riddance, and KYE. I knew the first one felt wrong so I switched to JOS, GR, and KYE. Sigh....I don't think it's gonna happen for me lol but at least I'm giving it a good try! Time to go to work with no green Day tickets in hand 😔

  38. Thank you! I need all the luck I can get. Here we go again. I left early. I'm wearing a Green Day pin for luck. And I'm nervous! I always start shaking when I dial in 😵 Good luck to everyone else today!

  39. Keeping everything crossed for you all today!! We need to live this show vicariously through some fellow GDCers!

  40. I think I’m going to try to wake up earlier than a few minutes before the contest the next two days to give my brain a chance to wake up. Might have to create a Green Day shrine around the radio to summon every single one of my Green Day brain cells that can help me out.

  43. Winner has been chosen. It's not me 😔 This one was hard. I was only confident in one song. My guess was Redundant, Minority, Dilemma. Sigh......guess it's time to go to work...as a loser 😭

  44. I don’t have a photo at hand right now but in Paraguay Billie wore those classic black and white Converse again after a long time. I like this. Somehow those shoes symbolize Californian punk rock to me.🤣 Love it!😍

  47. To be honest I didn’t really expect GD to win, just had a little bit of hope… But I‘m surprised the winner isn’t Linkin Park. Maybe it really was that kissing camera incident that made Coldplay so popular.
