  1. People on Reddit say lots of things lol. I don’t check in there much, but that particular community seems to have a fixation with thinking he’s drinking every time he has some kind of on-stage issue, with most of them going “hey man it’s fineeee if he wants to drink” and all that nonsense. One time they swore he was drinking last year because he was acting weird during a song and lo and behold, there’s a video from right after where he’s like “I was just choking on an Advil!” Lmao. I understand the worry 100% but it takes more for me to be concerned than one meh night where there were other things at play that caused tension. I imagine starting two hours later than scheduled is a big deal for a performer when they have specific rituals to get themselves ready for the show. I mean, I’m just a concertgoer and even I’ve been put in weird moods by rain delays. Having all that built up adrenaline delayed, and worries over whether the event will go on at all, messes with you a bit. I saw GD last year in Philly and Pittsburgh and enjoyed Philly a lot less because it was up in the air all day whether the show could happen because of a hurricane.

  2. We always remember to complain but sometimes we don't remember to compliment, so before I forget, this year's VIP host is lovely So far, the whole thing has gone so much better than last year. Even the merch isn't as shit.

  3. Still ready to throw down, love it. Part of what he said was definitely "I'll beat your ass" lol Reminded me of years ago when some guy was being violent in the crowd or something and he spit like a gallon of spit (seriously) in his face as security was removing him and went back to singing the song 2 seconds later Water gun guy got off light!

  4. I tried to like Wunderhorse on the first night but by the second I was out of patience 😂 Still not over how good these shows were though!! Redundant was so beautiful. I don't think it's sunk in that we heard 86 and Stuart & the Ave. One of my friends filmed 86 and all you can hear is us screaming 😂

  7. I bought the tour poster and FINALLY a foam finger. Been looking for one since I've seen them in Bullet in a Bible and never got the chance to get any of the many they had. 20 years later, I'm a proud Green Day foam finger...holder!

  8. Me too, please 🥺 But only to Green Day. I'd happily skip the support act 😵‍💫

  9. So Billie got into it with a fan who was shooting a water pistol at him: https://consequence.net/2025/06/billie-joe-armstrong-squirt-gun/ He rightfully gets angry but my favorite part of the vid is how he immediately gets back into showman mode. That's a true performer right there 😆

  10. I am sure @petros you will find it worth the wait, they are always great live and the Saviors shows have just been amazing. Enjoy!

  11. I saw them live at Southside and watched yesterday’s livestream and there’s literally nothing that suggests that he was drunk. The difference between the two shows is that there was no thunderstorm and therefore no delay and no time restrictions at Southside. That’s all. They probably had a little less time and had to rush through some of the songs. It still looked like a good show to me. And him being angry? That’s human. I’d also be mad if someone tried to distract me all the time.

  12. I haven't watched the show yet, so I cannot comment on his behavior, but given the whole situation with it being postponed due to the storm, not knowing if it would happen or not, and being on that state of uncertainty for at least an hour, especially for a front man who has said many times he gets stage fright, I imagine is quite enough to put anyone in quite a state. So I wouldn't worry too much, as in all the previous shows he has seemed perfectly fine and quite enjoying himself.

  13. People on Reddit are always speculating that anytime his behavior is less than perfect. I’d dismiss it.

  16. Somehow this was the 3rd time for me hearing Stuart and the Ave live 😅 But I love Insomniac getting some of the love it deserves anyways 86 and Forever Now were the songs I wanted the most from their respective albums (well, technically Panic Song from Insomniac would top 86 for me, but I know they will never play that one live). The Redundant snippet was also 🥹

  17. Same here. They're talented, no doubt about it, but it was not for me. The mumbling was a bit annoying and a little more crowd interaction ("wave your hands", "sing along", etc.) would've been great for the mood. But I have witnessed worse (The Baseballs in 2013) and I'm not a pessimistic opening band-basher.

  21. @That Dudelol ill give you that but LNOE might be their best ballad with Restless Heart Syndrome up there..that song gives me chills and tears for real…but Bang Bang should be back someday that has been their hardest lead single ever and went number 1 on all rock stations. That’s so fast and aggressive.

  22. i wouldnt go as far as saying he seemed "unhinged" this show, but he was for sure moody. everyone has moody days. especially with whats going on in the world, delayed set, and getting shot at by water trying to chalk it up to him going back to drinking is pretty ridiculous though

  23. Yeah and he seemed to be enjoying himself at this one too from what I saw! I saw nothing different to download save for what’s already been discussed. People, man 🙄

  24. Ugh I saw that too, and it’s literally just someone’s ~feeling based on nothing. They’re all human like the rest of us, god forbid he shows a bit of emotion now and then

  25. I was too young to go anywhere until the 21stcb tour and then started disliking their music from trilogy to foam so I didn't wanna bother and pay all that to go see them somewhere. My love for them came back with Saviours to be honest it's the first time I feel connected with green day again after all these years and this announcement came just at the right time.

  26. Can't wait. I've been waiting to see them live for so many years, I was thinking of going to a different country to see them but finally they are coming to our country and it seems like it will be the last show of the Saviors tour. I'll be crying when they come on the stage. Now I hope someone cool is going to be opening for them. Two years ago on the same festival it was Muse that headlined and I also got to see Nothing but Thieves and Yungblud which were both pretty awesome. 16 year old me bitching about them never coming to Greece:

  27. Last Night on Earth doesn't get played a lot because they try to focus on big, loud, fast songs for the majority of shows. And they've already got four ballads that they are probably legally bound to play, lol.

  28. 999,813,051 (with 6 more from me just now). Yeah, I wouldn't eat any of my Green Day cds. I might go out and get another Kerplunk Slurpee though, yum! . That would be a good punishment for my sin. Here's another big number - Green Day's TOTAL streams are "well over" 15 Billion across all the major platforms.

  45. I mean this with all kindness, but if you’ve loved them so much for all these years, I can’t quite understand why you’ve never been willing to leave your little country to see Green Day. You take trips for vacations, right? It feels like seeing a band you love so deeply would be worth it!
