  1. So they keep adding one more Saviors song each show. Maybe by the time they get back to the US they'll just be doing the whole album. (Just give me Living in the 20s)

  4. I did a comparison of this month's numbers vs. last month- So for total numbers, Dilemma has passed TADIKM as the most played from Saviors. Daily numbers are down, which is expected, except for LMNB which is up. Daily retention numbers are decent, except for Living in the 20s and OEB which are down more than the others.

  5. That’d be be amazing! I was thinking the choice of Saviors songs are mostly upbeat/fast-paced. Switching one of the ones included with something more emotional would be great. Fancy Sauce would be the best one, otherwise maybe Suzie Chapsticks or Goodnight Adeline.

  6. I'm on my way now, I came over from the UK. This will be my 15th Green Day show. Was aiming for 8am but I got confused with the trams 😅 my french is très mauvais but from what I can tell the T7 line is running extra trams until 00h15. Someone in my dorm said it will be extremely busy getting out but the show is due to finish about 23h30 so that should be plenty of time. I looked up the seating plan and "golden circle" is just the best seats as far as I can tell, so it's first come first served in the pit. Luckily this is one of the smaller shows on the tour so even if you're not super near the front you'll still get a good view vs a stadium show. That's half the reason I'm here, the shows we're getting in the UK are about 4-5x the size and it's not as fun as an arena show.

  7. It's criminal that we'll probably never hear Brutal Love or Forever Now live again. Without a doubt the best closers and also some of the best songs Green Day have ever released. You can't change my mind.

  8. They played 43 songs in 2010 on the last show of the 21st Century Breakdown tour. https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/green-day/2010/estadio-ricardo-saprissa-san-jose-costa-rica-bd57542.html

  9. If we got Fancy Sauce between Minority and Good Riddance it would be absolutely perfect! It’s already perfect anyway tho:)

  10. not sure if this joke has been made before but i remember a couple of years ago when i watched livestreams gdc users lost their shit every time they (predictably) played KFAD and started petitions for it to be removed from the setlist

  11. I can answer. The song existed in 2004 and John Roecker’s picture of that CD proves it. They played it on 21cb tour because it was a fan request. It was requested by 3 fans in 2009 along with a list of old songs they wanted to hear and a personal note of thanks to the band. the next night they changed the setlist and began playing songs listed in the note. One of the requests was to release Cigarettes and Valentines so it could be heard. The request meant the album but they offered up the song on leg 2.

  12. on a side note: did we ever find out what all this was about?

  13. Hi All I have been looking over some photos from the European Saviors photos. I noticed Mike has been playing a Silverburst G3. I finally come across a clear photo which shows its an Epiphone, with a Mike Dirnt truss rod cover. I have had a quick look around and I dont think Epiphone have ever done a G3 in Silverburst? What do you all think? It does seem a little odd that Mike is playing an Epiphone, with the custom truss rod cover, in a color that has never been issued. However, Fender still sell his latest Roadworn P-Bass so he likely still has a contract with them?

  14. The person I know that was there thinks they didn't play all 37 This is a clip of Good Riddance https://thisisjoy.tumblr.com/private/752481530653310976/tumblr_YAf6rxqpjqodHR4Sf?source=share (For the fangirls red trimmed shirt with matching socks!)

  15. I was thinking it's going to be almost as long as Costa Rica They did. It was just over four hours with all the hey-ohs!! They're onto Homecoming Confetti now In Rock N Roll Girlfriend it looks like Sorry I just have a blurry clip and and unable to upload The crowd looks very tame Whatsername Billie sounds fantastic but most of the clips I'm getting are blurry or blown out

  16. So if the play the 37 songs on the setlist this will become the 2nd biggest GD show in number of songs. Only Costa Rica 2010 got more than this, with 42 edit... actually it will be the 3rd, Bottom Of The Hill 1998 got 39 songs, though we don't have a definitive source to confirm the songs played in the nont broadcasted part

  17. So 37 songs has got to be the longest setlist in terms of # of songs they’ve had in like 15 years right? It’s gotta rival some of those 21CB tour shows

  18. I think they must be on soon. Interrupters are done Stage From someone at the venue

  20. Still American Dream and Dilemma only so far. Pretty exciting to hear new Green Day on top of the charts and staying there!

  21. I can't wait to see it either. I hope it has sort of the same vibe as Bullet in a Bible because that changed my life lol. But if it doesn't that's fine too. Just can't wait to hear stuff I might not already know lol

  24. It would be incredible if they did (and honoured the tickets from the cancelled show (won't happen but can dream))

  25. They've done it before with FBHT same night as a GD show during 21st CB tour in 2009 and relatively small surprise Shepherds Bush and Brixton Academy shows while here playing festivals in 2012/2013. And Billie mentioned the idea of playing a small show while in London for Wembley. Could be either (or neither).

  27. Great. I can't wait to see the proshot and see the band in Milan

  28. Did I see somewhere that they were streaming Rock am Ring? Should get a full proshot of that show hopefully

  29. This stage, Pyro and plane are really great. Going to see then in Arhnem in a couple of weeks Hopefully we get a concert movie. Might be worth it. Since this is a complete different setlist

  32. I was yesterday at Madrid show... Great energy from the band, but bad organization from the 'festival' (sound from some points, not water aviable easyly in a hot day, the exit from the place, not enought time to go from Green day stage to lagwagon one)... But Green day atmosphere was wonderfull. Like not to ruin Jesús of suburbial with "crowd muscians" and not to many hey oh from Billie. Great setlist!

  33. I think it also depended on location. The front stage area had an amazing sound, except from the few occasions in which the wind was blowing and some sounds would mix together weirdly.

  34. Take it with a grain of salt but someone on reddit claims it was rumoured that Epiphone were planning a G3 reissue so this could check out. Someone else also claimed that the reissue was coming in natural and black, both of which he has played

  35. I wouldn't judge too much from a festival. Also if it is their own sound people hopefully the bad feedback will mean they sort it out for upcoming shows.

  36. I was at the show yesterday. Yes, Billie in some spots was almost inaudible again, as I checked my recording (Yes, I recorded it in almost full audio, maybe some day I would share it, but doesn't sound good) there was wind from time to time affecting the sound, but normal being an outdoor, I've been on worst shows. I love what they do with All By Myself, almost only for that song, the 100€ for the ticket were well paid off.

  37. Since they're headlining, their own people should be taking care of the sound. The feedback on Instagram is absolutely devastating but it looks like the overall organization of both festivals was bad which gives me some hope for the headline shows and the big/more established European festivals.

  43. One of the big Chicago alternative radio stations plays Dilemma like 3-4 times a day, sometimes more. They usually do this with any Green Day single. It is funny that I hear these new singles in heavy rotation, and the second they hit #1 on the charts, radio play immediately goes down
    1 point
  44. I heard Dilemma on the radio a couple days ago. It was exciting. I'm in the bay area so maybe it's not that surprising

  45. Yes, but I feel absolute radio ( UK station) is always going to!
