  6. Ironic considering you weren’t even a sperm cell when Pop Disaster Tour was happening. It’s really easy to try and diminish someone. How does this comment feel? I’m sorry that me sharing my personal experiences triggers you. You’re going to hear opinions you don’t agree with for the rest of your life. How you react to it shows more about your character than the person you’re attempting to tear down. You’ll learn in time the argumentative thing is a waste of energy and won’t get you too far ahead. You have the freedom to build the conversation and bring light to your pov and experiences. Leverage that to build the conversation rather than tear people down. For me that’s where I leave this discussion. I am no longer going to discuss this with you if I am going to be pulled into a high school drama. I’m not a pro musician anymore, that was years ago in all honesty. It’s been more about production stuff as of late and just getting good sounds. Always love to help people find the right instruments. As for the second part my financial planner asked me to hang out the other day LOL but honestly from the biggest place of humility I can’t stress financial freedom any more than I have already. Being disciplined and strategic with the resources you do have can build the bridge to the resources you don’t currently have. Quitting smoking years ago was a huge step forward for me and helped shape my life into something stable.

  7. And he’s been going to arsenal and Millwall matches for a while now. London suits him well! I think it’s good for him! How do I know? I don’t! But a cute city and cute man make a dainty paring!!!

  10. Here's all of them (unless more release later) No idea why it is only 3 of them, maybe it's because the others are already on Spotify. But that means J.A.R. was recorded in Dookie and not Insomniac? idk

  16. I saw it live on a Facebook livestream!!!! I'll never forget the feeling when I realized it was a new song!!!! At first, I thought it was some obscure cover!!!

  17. Agree, can't wait for the "outtakes". But at the time back in '91 when I put Kerplunk on the turntable and listened to it for the very first time, it was like, what the fuck. I'd never heard anything like it, what was this amazing new sound, I was totally gobsmacked, hooked on Green Day for life and my life changed forever. So yes looking forward to hearing dookiefied version, but the original version still has a special place in my heart. ❤️

  19. There’s things I dislike and like about Foam but the first outweighs the second for me. I’ll stick to the positives and say I liked the use of new rhythms and I liked that Billie tried something different. Graffitia was a great addition to the catalog and Take The Money and Crawl was as well. Father of All was a different single and Tre’s beat is cool and of course something new for the band. but imo I think Warning is the most misunderstood in their career. I would even say Uno Dos and Tre as well. The trilogy was just maybe too much to digest at once and to the average casual listener it may have looked like a cash grab or something gimmicky or even something overwhelming. We always say here if you cut it to the best 13-14 songs it would be solid. I think that’s probably true. I thought the whole point of the album was to introduce soul into the Green Day sound!?! all joking aside it’s easily the worst album theyve released. I don’t know if I agree wholeheartedly with the things you said. A corporate album would require an actual real album cover. All I know is that Green Day has been trying to get out of their contract since 21cb. They mentioned trying to get out of it as early as 2010. They tried a trilogy to expedite it, then they did rev rad where they didnt even put their name on the cover and then this one was just pure sabotage. I’m sure there will be some sort of story in the future about what really happened here but theyve been disengaged since 21cb. I hope this era is over with the new album though.

  20. When I read that there was to be a J.A.R. outtake, I was both excited and surprised. I really love this song coupled with it's sad and emotional connection. Surprised as I already have 4 sound variations of the song if my memory is correct. There's the acoustic version from the 3 song demo cassette '92, the Art of Ears and Dancing Dog studios demo versions '93, and the latest version recorded for Angus soundtrack '95.

  21. I think its perfectly understood. They made a passionless or lets say passion lacking, corporate, soulless, car commercial album to try to sell tickets to hella mega.

  22. "Walking the Dog" was a little disappointing with how low quality it sounded, but I guess that's why it's the only outtake listed as a "demo". Finally hearing the "Christie Road" re-recording after all this time was amazing, I see some people complaining about the slower pace but I actually really like it, I think it helps make this version sound a little more unique compared to the Kerplunk version. I always loved the "409 in Your Coffeemaker" re-recording, so hearing it get properly mixed and released on streaming is so great. I'm a little shocked the "J.A.R." outtake appears to have been left off? "On the Wagon" and "Tired of You" are already available because of "Shenanigans", but I wonder why they didn't release "J.A.R." with this, unless it just sounds the exact same as the already released version?

  25. Apparently someone on YouTube already leaked Christie Road. Either that or it's already out in other countries. I'd share it here, but after the One Eyed Bastard incident, I'm not so sure.

  31. Sometimes I wish that the next Green Day album is so bad, so that people will shut up about how bad they think FOAM is. It isn't their greatest record, but it will probably always be their most misunderstood.

  32. Keep going back and watching the 1981 video in Quebec, in amongst the crowd, clapping theirs hands above their heads on Billie Joe's instruction, as always. Could pretend I was there, that feeling is so special. Didn't care about the tech' probs. It's called live music, awesome. I really hope it's a single release.

  34. cant wait for the "outtakes" all the songs from 1039/smoothed.. and kerplunk sound "cold" and not vibrant enough, i always wished to get proper recordings of many of these old songs!

  36. I Will make a dookie playlist (álbum + outtakes). Thinking how order them... i think Christie Road after welcome to paradise (like kerplunk), J.A.R between basket case and she, and on the wagon / tired of waiting for you as last two tracks closing the playlist

  37. I'm so fucking happy we finally got to hear that "Christie Road" re-recording after 3 whole decades. I was getting worried this would never see the light of day, but it sounds so beautiful. I was literally crossing my fingers that they would release the Outtakes on its own before the full release, Friday can't come sooner. 😭😭😭 Plus, getting to hear an early version of "J.A.R." and the "Walking the Dog" demo will be interesting too!

  39. I'm so tired to see the FOAM era photos that are still used for Green Day news in the media. Excited for the new and hopefully funny photoshoots from the new era. I also hope the artwork of the new album is similar to Insomniac or Dookie which includes many details that is more like a collectible poster type. As a bonus track, I Get Around (Beach Boys cover) and Cigarettes & Valentines studio version would be lovely too ( Although I highly doubt it).
