I want another Rock Opera with at least 14 songs and a minimum length of 45 minutes!

At the end of the day, if the quality is there then I don't mind getting an album under 30 minutes. Don't get me wrong, I get that it might seem frustrating after how long they've been teasing to just get 20-30 minutes of new music. But if they have 25 minutes of fantastic songs, would you really want them to add an extra 10-20 minutes onto that if it just means getting some extra mediocre tracks? Of course it's fine to have preference for an album to be a certain number of tracks, or number of minutes but even if I prefer an album being 12-15 tracks, I'm not going to have a problem with an album with 9 tracks or 18 tracks if it's a genuinely great album One of the weirdest complaints I see FOAMF get is that it's too short... Like, really? Is that the reason people think FOAMF is one of the weakest (if not the weakest) GD albums? Because it's too short? It's already a mediocre album, what would adding extra songs do if songs like IWATT and Oh Yeah were considered acceptable tracks. No offense to people who love those tracks, or the album as a whole. The album being short is not one of the album's flaws in my view. I don't see people say that Insomniac is a weak GD album due to its length, even though that album is only a few minutes longer than FOAMF We're not getting another trilogy. And the trilogy was done fine, they're not going to do a better trilogy now than the one they did in 2012. A 2+ hour project is bound to have some filler on it unless they spent like a full decade on a trilogy trying to perfect it. Even a double album is something I highly doubt is going to happen ever Strongly disagree. FOAMF is not a modern mainstream sounding album. This is not the sound that modern listeners go to listen to. The band did not make FOAMF to try and get modern listeners to listen to them. If anything, it's very old sounding music

Probably means he wants to stop being bothered by randos asking for an album update lol If we are to believe reports of a summer tour IN SUPPORT OF A NEW ALBUM WHICH WE KNOW THEY HAVE BEEN WORKING ON SINCE AT LEAST 2021, then an announcement of sorts would have to be fairly imminent.

The Network proved to me that FOAM could have been improved with more tracks. At first I thought it was just that several of the songs were underwritten or subpar, but I think they also left several better tracks off the album. The first half of the album is pretty weak, all of the stronger tracks are in the second half and just when you start enjoying it, it ends. If they had added Art of the Deal…, Degenerate and Cancer is the New Black? You’d have a very good album.

Foam is the product of green day being a "dead band" in their own eyes and trying to get with the times (in the worst possible fuckin way)

As much as I genuinely really like KYE and think it's overhated, I would love for them to replace it with something else on 21CB. Having it on the setlist for 15 years probably isn't doing it any favours. And the title track or East Jesus Nowhere would make perfect sense to replace it as these are absolutely fan favourite tracks

If Tre's broken drumsticks post was from a rehearsal, then something is really on the way, because they wouldn't be together practicing the setlist 3 months prior to the next show. So at least some kind of change on the Hella Mega greatest hits is coming.

Yeah we only have been speculate about that "something will happen around easter" thing. If it's a single good for us. But I'm pretty sure it would be just the announcement of everything they have under their sleeves.

The best we can hope for is an announcement of a single not the single itself. If a single was gonna drop tomorrow radio host would already have leaked it (as is tradition.) I'm not optimistic about getting anything once again but we'll see

Yeah that is very creepy I hope no fans do that to him or Mike, Tre. i can see why he probably said that for those Longshot shows(i didn't have the chance to go to any shows in 2018/2019) but i did see some clips of Longshot shows posted on YT. They seemed fun and way different than going to a GD show so I can see why Billie did say that bc he probably wanted to give all fans a chance of being that up close at a Longshot show as its a different experience than a GD one. right? Makes no sense why he'd pick a kid but "hate them" and in all the clips i see on YT/ TikTok of fans on stage with him he looks hella happy so even I have no idea why that person had the nerve to say that to me. thank you! They can’t announce a tour in July for shows in July. They need time to sell tickets and promote. Most summer tours are being announced now or already have been. Wtf this claim sounds oddly specific I’m gonna need to see the receipts

I didn't change my tune. I've always figured the first single for the album wouldn't just be shadow dropped out of the blue. There would have to be at least some kind of announcement for a single that big

Would like to see them walk on stage and starting with 21st CB. Imagine they walk on stage during this Medley Intro they used during HM and instead of beginning with AI (later in the set) you hear Tre: „BA BAM“ and they‘re playing the song. Goosebumps 😂

I'm of the unpopular opinion that there's shockingly little worth listening to from MM2020 Pt II. Like, of the 25 tracks on the album, there's only 7 tracks that I have saved onto my spotify's "Liked songs" and my bar for saving a song, especially a GD song, to my liked songs is not high at all. Even FOAMF, I have all songs except Teenage Teenager saved even though I only really ever listen to half the album There are songs on there that could've been put on FOAMF but 1) Instead of adding them to FOAMF, imo it would've been better for those better tracks to replace the weaker tracks on the album, resulting in a better quality but still just as short album. 2) It's very possible that the band wouldn't have included the better songs from this project on FOAMF if they were to add more songs. For all we know, they could've added one of the many filler songs on the album, maybe change them a little to have them sound a bit more GD but still undoubtably a filler track. Or, they could've added additional songs that weren't released on MM2020 Pt II, like Here Comes The Shock, which is almost unanimously considered mediocre at best
