But maybe - MAYBE - a single could release November 2 because that's the anniversary of the day I made eye contact with Billie and he bolted across the street without looking both ways9 points
-
It'll probably be released December 2nd because that's the 25th anniversary of Good Riddance single release. Or December 11th which would be the 22nd anniversary of the Warning single. Or October 19 because that's the 13th anniversary of East Jesus Nowhere's single. Or October 15th because that's the 10th anniversary of Stray Heart9 points

They wonāt do another big tour until the next summer so they donāt need to rush this⦠it can come out next spring or next fall depending on the tour schedule. Also if they care about preventing burnout, they wonāt go into album promo right after the end of this tour. And tbh thatās fine, I get no fun out of watching them looking miserable.6 points

I hope I get one of the drumsticks this time! But first there's the challenge of getting close to the stage, which is hard in a festival this big. I travel tomorrow straight to Rock in Rio Edit: oh, I hope I get one of the shirts too. And Billie's guitar pick. And go to sing Longview. Well, actually I want everything and I'm not ashamed about it š4 points

I love how people put in effort and basically treated it like a costume party and then thereās Billie like āhi i just walked in off the streetā4 points

He said so in an interview. He seems to me to be a very reflective person, maybe he thinks very deeply about stuff and it gets him down. He looks pretty contented these days to me so hope heās doing well. Arenāt many poets/songwriters pretty tortured souls?3 points

G1 (Brazilian news website) interviewed the person responsible for the backstage of Rock in Rio and all the artists' requests. According to her, Green Day asked that no one smokes near the band or the crew. She also mentioned that Green Day and Coldplay bring their own chefs, so the festival prepared a kitchen for them. Here is the article, but it's in Portuguese.3 points

Itās funny scrolling through all those pics of non-celeb movie goers and thereās this one famous guy thatās just in the mix anonymously. How many people even knew he was there until later I wonder. And Iām surprised Kevin and his wife didnāt go all out with costumes and get their pictures taken theyāre usually into that.2 points

Does she? I hope he's doing better now. It's hard to tell with him a lot of the time. He's very good at putting on a mask and hiding his inner conflicts.2 points

In fact, the rule is not to smoke in the dressing room area. "Whoever wants to, will have to smoke outside, because we don't know who might be bothered."2 points

Still Breathing. "I'm like a son that was raised without a father/ I'm like a mother barely keeping it together" It's moreso referencing his family situation rather than his father directly though, I guess. It's a line that's always stood out to me bc of my family losing my father. (although I was 17, so not as young as Bille was.)2 points

According to my very real and legitimate and not made up at all inside sources, every time @GDFan2019tries to make a prediction, Green Day pushes the release back little by little. Trust me, my source is that I made it up and that is as good a reason to believe as any other.2 points

It's not unrealistic, he does look nostalgic in that teaser. I get the feeling Billie's written a lot more songs about his dad than he's let on. I also have an inkling he was working on WMUWSE as far back as 17, from the line 'seven years have gone so fast'. What with mentioning his dad twice on Revolution Radio in two songs, Billie seems to be more comfortable referencing his dad. So if the album is about looking back I could see there being a song about the guy. The guy was a drummer, so he definitely had a huge influence on Billie learning music.1 point

Lucky fans. He obviously wasnāt using IEMs then either which is one of the reasons he couldnāt do that today. Heās all wired up through his shirt.1 point
