Had a dream that was kind of a Hella Mega/Riding in Vans with Boys combo, but with different bands. The HM tour had just ended, and GD was releasing behind the scenes videos of their times with the other bands. But the other bands were The Offspring and Avenged Sevenfold (couldn't name you a single AS song, so I don't know how they got into my subconscious). GD had shared a house with AS, so most of the videos centered around that.

Yes! I would love it if Green Day did this more. Back in 2016 I saw The Cure two nights in a row and it was 2 completely different shows. Sure, there were some songs they played both nights, but they appeared at different moments in the setlist making it not a carbon copy. Same goes for NIN. If Green Day started doing this, I would love to see them as many times as I could on tour!

Had a dream that GD was making a music video including Kevin. Don't remember much, just that it was Mike and Tre on one side and Billie and Kevin on the other, with people in the YouTube comments asking who Kevin was.

I love all those songs! Only GD song I'm not crazy about is Sweet 16. I've said it before but it sounded so funky from the club shows but on the album it's just kind of nothingy and didn't live up to expectations.

Green Day have that special sauce down when it comes to their shows that always sets them apart, and seeing them at Hella Mega alongside other bands that are just good in a typical way at putting on a show really highlights that difference. Everything got kicked up a notch when they came out and it has everything to do with the way Billie connects with the audience both individually with eye contact, taking flags, wearing hats, sunglasses, etc. and inviting fans up and as a group with commands throughout the show to participate making it interactive. Plus his energy is off the charts.
