Very cool! At one point a guy came to film a panning shot of the queue with everyone "going crazy" and he said it would be for a "Green Day film" and mentioned something about interviewing people. Wasn't sure if that actually means a film or not but sounds interesting. Btw I can't believe I was ever at all less excited for the Hella Mega Tour than other GD shows. 10/10 fucking amazing. Weezer and Fallout Boy were a ton of fun. And "greatest hits" setlist doesn't matter at all when they're putting on such an incredible show and knocking every song out the park one after the other, and keeping all the people who were mostly there for FOB or just to see three big bands just as into it making for a great atmosphere in the crowd. It works perfectly. And they threw in some extra surprises I hadn't seen before as well (Kiss cover, total out of the blue surprise "All the Young Dudes" cover right at the end after Good Riddance, and a cool drum solo thing from Tre). And King for a Day/Shout as the cherry on top 🥰

So I am a member of a Hella Mega FB group, sure more of you here are, and one of the fans at the London show last night says she was interviewed for a Green Day film! She didn’t say HM film. We know they often shoot live footage but sounds like we might actually get to see some this time! 🤞🏼

Yeah the film crew were there for Green Day. The show was AMAZING and Billie took my UK 🇬🇧 flag on stage during minority, wore it around his neck while he played the harmonica, hung it on a mic stand next to Kevin, and than used it again during King for a Day before throwing it back to me ❤️ It was extra special because we wrote our names, Green Day Inc and the name of our friends all over it, so it was kinda like they were at the show with us, including a friend who passed away a few years ago. If anyone has photos/videos of those moments, please send them my way. Thanks!

Interestingly, Jenna Fischer was at this show. She said on her podcast that Billie and her husband Lee were working on another project together. Could this be it? Is he directing a GD doc?

It's so great, they're on top form and there's that extra layer of excitement they have when playing a big stadium (only seen them in a stadium twice but it's definitely a thing). You'll love it!

Fab, I’ve said before I would go to watch them sing anything and get that a lot of us would rather just a GD show but I haven’t understood the low levels of excitement but it feels like it’s really ramped up since they arrived in Europe. Maybe it’s only recently people have allowed themselves to believe it’s actually happening. I am so excited for Glasgow it’s ridiculous 🤣

He was in a cute black and red polka dot short sleeved shirt last night! With an extra long bit at the bottom to cover his lil tummy haha. And Nimrod era vibes with the grown out black hair and no eyeliner. He looked really great. And Mike (who looked on point as always) had leopard print hair!

I have no idea who those people are, but it seems they are having a fun night. Who wouldn't want to rub up against Billie if they met him? Must be some people he knows and they're going out for a party or something. I think it seems harmless and was probably just taken down under the assumption people would get the wrong idea.

How many tracks do you think 1972 will have? Do you think it'll be less than average amount like FOAM (10 songs or *shudders* less?) An average amount for a Green Day record (12 to 13 songs) Or above average amount like 21st Century. (15 or more.) They've been recording for a while but I don't think that has to do with album length. I see this album having the standard 12 tracks. Maybe more since he has time to write more while they tour. I'm predicting 12-14 tracks. I wouldn't mind a double album though.

Yes you wear a swimsuit, they are not really like a swimsuit. First off they can be really uncomfortable but I guess Billie’s are top of the range, and secondly everyone who doesn’t use them misses they are wet suits, they hold water so once you are out of the water you take them off. They get cold, they do drain but they are also cumbersome depending on the thickness. Also, you are usually taking off a wetsuit in public so there’s that. Well spotted, I believe I do. Billie in leopard speedos is a pic we need.

Same with Austin in October. I’m hoping for a fan’s set or even a new song.
