  1. I just met him in Berlin with his big hat on 😭

  2. The reason the US is in such a bad state is because of the republicans in power. The democrats aren't doing what they should be doing but the Republicans are actively making life worse for people. Abortion rights are threatened because conservative supreme justices are voting against it, republicans in the senate are the ones that vote against anything good like gun control, stimulus checks, infrastructure, minimum wage, healthcare

  3. Billie can live wherever the hell he wants, he isn't a politician and it's not his job to fix the US. And where he lives has no bearing on how much he can do to affect change.

  6. I think abortions are great. People should get them more so that Republicans can argue that limiting them would ruin the free market with Communism.

  7. Based on the Kerrang article, it seems like its only the album. I don't think they would freely mention the album, but keep an EP a secret.

  8. Ehh, getting the feeling now that Fall will be the earliest we get an announcement/single.

  9. Now I want to go to Berlin. It looks so nice.

  10. Honestly I am going to the concert with two friends, they are casual fans, loved them during AI, followed them during 21CB, know something from the Trilogy, maybe have heard something from the rest. That’s the set list they expect and want. One saw them live once, one never. They are 24 and 29. And I think they represent a good portion of their average audience. It’s only fair that they are getting it.

  12. Billie's not being effected by the shit things going on in the US. He's rich & famous. The people getting fucked over are women, the working class, poc, lgtbq and Billie being in the US isn't doing anything to help these people

  13. Sorry these photos aren't great but I can read them (will try to get a better photo of page 6 where the light is shining on the text) Here is the link to my Tumblr post. 15. No, apart from the fact that I don't know how anyone with such views can be a Green Day fan when it goes against everything they've always stood for, the posts are simply off topic.

  16. No way was I reading that shit. Reported.

  17. Could just be they were giving us a look inside the process with no real timeline in mind. Mildly disappointing on one hand, but builds the anticipation on the other.

  18. If it's true that the album releases in 2023, I'm not expecting any announcement or major news for months

  19. I doubt they'll announce anything while on tour. It's possible, but I have a feeling they won't

  20. Fabulous city, not sure why more tourists don’t visit, but it’s quite busy at times already.

  22. That’s true but that doesn’t mean, thank good, that it doesn’t bother him! Not usually one to quite the bible but “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing” is again, very relevant in our times.

  24. Billie's stories he just posted are cracking me up It's just videos of the close up of a bowl. He's like zooming in and out. They're at a bar or something

  25. I think he is in the Uk for recording because he has a family member living there at least part time as well. And I know it is probably not ok to say this, but I think part of the reason he is pissed off at the US isn't political at all, I think it is because in the US, his family member got "cancelled", and even tho plenty of us feel it was warranted, in my opinion, I think the whole cancel culture and what happened, pisses Billie off. Any way, in short, I think he is there for personal reasons, and it works for him and his family. If this is totally inappropriate, mods can delete it.

  30. Two of the most important people in my life wouldn't be in my life if they didn't have their abortions. That's all I'm going to say about that absolutely ridiculous statement. anyway! Thanks for posting the scans. Can't read through the whole interview rn since I'm a bit sick, but I love the photos and the magazine cover is super cool.

  31. No one knows the terms of their (new?) contract. But I think that’s more a matter of Crush release/marketing strategy, rather then contractual obligations.

  33. Last comment before it gets too offtopic: I think the US election system is more like „voting against a certain candidate“ than „voting for a certain candidate“. That‘s the problem when there are only two (major) options to vote for.

  34. I think you’re the hint. 2019, 1972, both years. Hmmm

  35. “Other countries have their problems too but I don’t know about them” is such a US stereotype

  36. Yeah!!! We figured out they were in the studio with Butch Walker when we recognized Tré’s drum kit in that Instagram video, which I believe Butch posted in April 2019 That’s what I figured, but then again, Billie’s probably always writing new music

  38. FOAM (single) was released in September. The record in February. I think we will get something this year.

  39. Maybe we've overestimated the 50th birthday thing. They can release It in 2030 but celebrating their origins calling 1972 with no problem.

  42. My point is him being there doesn't help those who are suffering. He can do things to help these groups while being outside of the states like using his platform to talk about these issues, giving money to groups or charities to help these people etc
    1 point
  43. We'll see if they play any FOAMF songs on their tour for the new album
    1 point
  44. He explained that too. It was a greatest hits tour (and lets face it they can fill a whole setlist with hits and mainstream favorites)
    1 point
  45. I don’t either. It’s natural to feel the problems that are the closest to you the strongest - no one has the capacity to care about everything to the same extent, plus honestly, you guys objectively have it a lot worse than we do in a lot of aspects. I was just poking fun at him, but in reality, this is a sentiment I see a lot among US immigrants - they have their own little community that’s kind of distant from locals and they’re happy to live in a place where they’re not bothered by stuff like welfare insecurity and gun violence.

  46. Grass is always greener, Billie. I can see the London thing being heavily criticized. It's easy when you're super rich to be a "citizen of the world." I get what he's saying but it reeks of privilege. So much for being an advocate of change. Just peace out, I guess.

  47. Well pack all your predictions in, Billie says in the new Kerrang interview that the new album probably won’t be out until 2023 😭😭😭

  48. So not to sound like a downer but i don't think we are gonna be getting a new teaser anytime soon considering they continue their tour next week and are probably practicing heavily until then. Hey I've been wrong before
