The incubation period with each variant has gotten shorter. If he was exposed last Friday or Saturday and he has no symptoms and tested negative as late as Wednesday he’s most likely in the clear. If the same is true as of today than most certainly he didn’t catch it. People now are showing symptoms within 2-3 days of exposure. But it’s possible he could be negative Thursday and positive if he traveled Friday so I get why he’s not going (but still very unlikely at this point 6-7 days out)

If it weren’t for Billie’s Covid exposure, tonight would’ve been a good chance to hear some news. But who knows, maybe he’s still setting something up virtually with NBC tonight

Billie has the worst of luck with his solo career. Last year his GMA performance got cancelled too.

It's a little weird how it's been nearly 2 weeks and we still haven't gotten any new teasers or news for 1972. I think it'll be even weirder if we don't get more teasers or news by NY.

I wish he’d played the show because this NYE was so boring. But I’m glad he’s staying safe that’s more important. His NYE looked really boring based on his Instagram stories. I love when he gets so bored he turns around completely and there’s a crazy amount of output and random weird stuff like crashing parties or attending events or starting new bands or performing randomly for fun. I miss the tours and stories and music releases. I hope he does something interesting soon. I am disappointed he couldn’t play the Miami New Years Eve party but safety so much more important.

Nothing better than a Green Day or Billie Joe cover. But what I want is a legit Billie Joe Armstrong album of original stuff. Sure, it would sound like Green Day, but it could be a great record. A brave record. Sometimes Billie hides things from the band while recording. This could be him letting loose, being in full creative control.

Let's hope this doesn't fall through like the New Years performance. I'm predicting the situation with breakthrough COVID cases is only going to get worse over the next few months. If that happens, it just might not be safe for them to try to do it. I would rather they be cautious and protect themselves than do a show and get the virus, despite how much I want to see them play again.

He’s been practicing that falsetto for a few years now, pretty cool to hear him doing what sounds like four part harmonies all on his own. I’d love to see how he recorded the parts

Asking the important questions: if Green Day existed in the Pokémon world, would the drunk bunny be a Scorbunny, Bunnelby or Buneary? I'm going with Bunnelby. Scorbunny is a possibility, but Buneary is too cutesy. Bunnelby looks like a Pokémon you might find unconscious on the pavement after it snuck into a pub.
