Well, the dream gods answered, but not in the way I wanted. Occasionally I will have dreams where there are what I call "false Billies". I had one last night. There was a person who was, in context, supposed to be Billie. He was performing for a large audience and things weren't quite right. This man was older, with thin, stringy, dark brown hair that was obviously dyed heavily, a wide brimmed hat, and badly applied eyeliner (reminiscent of Kieth Richards). I was terribly bothered by the fact that this was supposed to be "Billie". In the dream I went to GDC to look at a bunch of pictures of him throughout the years to reassure myself. After that, I was able to tell myself "Wait, this is a dream. This is not the real Billie. This is just another false Billie. He's not that old and even when he gets to be, he won't look anything like that." I hate dreams like this. I would just like a dream where I get to enjoy Billie for who he really is.

I just watched a whole slew of Green Day playing Oh Yeah live, and I already hated that song, but now I'm ready to watch it burn in hell. In one of them I watched they weren't even playing together. That was the biggest thing. And Billie's singing was not it whatsoever. It wasn't terribly out of tune, but it was lazy. He seemed like he didn't even care that he wasn't doing well. And the thing that bothered me the most is that Mike's strings were slightly sharp. It wouldn't have been too bad if it wasn't the loudest thing. Whoever was the sound engineer needs to get their pay docked; they did horrible.

Maybe it's Van Gough with Mike's wife rather than Fink with Billie's wife

The whole Hungry Hungry Vs Hungry Hungry Models made me pull out my copies of the album. Both the CD/DVD release and my blue vinyl have it listed as Hungry Hungry. I never noticed that.

Threat Level has me more excited about the record, even although it's just Chasing a Ghost and Sugar Youth combined. Seems like Billie is using different vocal filters than back on the last Network record. I kind of prefer the older ones; these sound very muffled.

Everything. Literally everything about the song. There's not one part of it that I don't like. My second fav is Hammer of the Gods, so maybe I just like weird shit.

I mentioned it 50 pages ago, but Green Day has already renewed their contract with Warner. It was evident when they released the Otis Mixes EP and No Fun Mondays singles & LP. It would have been cool to see Green Day on their own label, but realistically they need to stay with a major label like Warner for distribution.

As someone on the curly hair committee we are very disappointed with Mr. Armstrong. We've written several appeals for him to let those gorgeous curls fly!
