You keep comparing the work and role of an artist to professions and businesses that nothing have to share with them. Needless to say, in this case you are also using the worst possible example since dentists, as any other medical profession, have to follow ethical codes (and in this case most probably also a contract) that in no way applies or reflect what you keep calling the “business” of Green Day. If you refer instead to a profession that belongs to the “art world”, let’s say a filmmaker or an actor releasing a series of shorts on YT, a painter publishing CC art on Pinterest, a writer publishing novels on a blog, you might understand that what you are saying makes completely no sense.

Holy crap, I drop in to see if anyone's heard any news about more No Fun Mondays and I see pages of ungrateful entitlements. C'mon people, we are better than that... the guys from the band start doing something they didn't need to do FOR FREE and us fans still find some way to complain about it? Give me a break... like imagine if Billie came on here with a secret account and saw all that shit. Frankly it's just embarrassing. That is not a comparable example. Medical care is a service that directly affects the health of those receiving it. There is no harm done to you (other than emotionally, it seems since you're so butthurt about it) if Billie chooses to stop when he wants to. Kind of insulting that you'd try to analogize treatment from a medical professional with a musician fooling around and having some fun on his free time and not specifying whether he's done or not. I think it's for BLM as Billie has been very quiet on Instagram this month (except for a few BLM stories). He doesn't need to justify pausing/stopping NFM for this reason (or for personal/family reasons). And how much more music do people feel they're entitled to when he's given us The Coverups, The Longshot, FOAM and NFM in recent years?

I've realized that FOAM has a lot of songs that are good one their own, but as a cohesive album, it is lacking. The whole "history of rock and rock" makes the album like a feel and identity of its own.

I dunno if you're trolling now or what. He put out a bunch of cover songs in his free time during quarantine and we listened to them. He didn't sign a multi million dollar contract with us or vow a solemn promise to us lol. Billie recording and releasing a song and you listening to it for free, or choosing to spend money to own it, isn't "having his way with you". He's free to release as much or little music as he wants and we're free to buy as much or little of it as we want. I don't know where you get the idea that he's obligated to release a certain amount of music or doing something wrong by choosing to release less music than you want, he isn't. I can only conclude that you're trolling at this point so I give up.

Let's face it: if Billie committed murder, some people on here would find ways to defend it. If you start a project, you finish it. That's just good business and being a respectable person. Yeah! He had a phase of fanboying over Lady Gaga on twitter and the reaction he got from haters made him stop interacting with fans on there for a bit I think. He'd been posting cool song facts and answering questions but stopped because of that. I'm late in the conversation, but: - Black haired Billie is my favourite. Blonde is gorgeous too, but I prefer black. - Billie in Viggiano was something special to watch. He was happy and he had an amazing experience there. And I was happy for him. - Billie performing Boulevard of Broken Dream... My favourite song! For me, whatever performance he gives of this song is the best.

Exactly. I didn't realise we'd reached a point where they need permission to stop entertaining us and aren't free to do what they want with their time. And? He makes music, gets entertainment and a little promotion and ad revenue out of it. We get some free entetainment. He's free to do it when it wants and stop when he wants. We're free to listen to it or not. Everyone wins.
