Billies new hairstyle gets the thumbs up from me because it looks good when sweaty

So I was going through the Instagram tags... and look at this fan footage of BJ and Mike . I bloody love them so much, it's such a cute moment. (I feel pretty weird posting up some random persons Instagram post, but I thought you guys should see it.)

He looks so beautiful in this first pic: Eyes and eyelashes and I really really really love the new hair.

I hope he'll go shirtless on this tour at least once but as I don't really see it happen, I am enjoying at least the bellie glimpses right now Also, I find it really funny and cute that his pants can look both nicely and tight fitted as well as baggy in one and the same concert He's really mysterious

PS Thanks for the pic of Mike. I think he also honestly gets better looking with age, at least right now.

Looking at recent pics of Billie & being the analytical person I am, I was trying to pinpoint what it is that keeps him looking so young. It's partly the obvious things, such as the full thick hair, the round face shape, and the big round eyes. But one of the biggies is his full lips. They really help to not show his age. The man is blessed.

I would prefer headliner shows. Queing for festivals is the worst. But I'll take what I can get.

Yeah possibly, although I'd guess it was more the director's choice since GD generally seem to leave it to them and not have much creative input themselves. Still I'm really impressed that they acted an emotional scene in the video even if it isn't the whole thing. I love it when music acts do that instead of just playing the song and getting actors in for the acting part.

Aww, you're so cute too. I love reading your posts. GD fangirls are the best! They have the most perfect friendship in the world. It's just so adorable and pure. They're always so happy when they're around each other and it's so beautiful. They've really been giving me the feels these past few days. I'm just so thankful that they found each other all those years ago. I don't know what I'd do without them.

If it is I would have died long ago! Isn't that one of the things that makes us Green Day fangirls? I am far from a rule follower myself! Same. I really love fluffy haired Billie the most but I will take Billie in any form. I have missed his beautiful face so much!! And I am also going to state for the record that Billie Joe is hawt!!! As far as some of the most fangirl things I've done? Nothing but Green Day CDs are allowed in my vehicle. I have bought countless magazines for even just a picture or one quote from Billie in it. I named my kitten Billie Moe, in honor of our favorite singer (and yes, Moe, not Joe- I didn't want to seem TOO obsessed! ) You are the cutest @G-L-O-R-I-A!!! <3 Your posts always make me happy! Love to see a fellow fangirl so enthusiastic about our Billie!!

They're my least favorite parts of the video that's for sure, but that's mainly because I will prefer staring at Billie for three and a half minutes over just about anything

Definitely! But I think the chance that they will play headliner shows here in Europe next year are small.... some festivals could be possible though. So yeah, we have to take what we can get!

I agree. For a 45 years old man, he is in great shape. He can go shirtless and make every other men jealous. Billie's beautiful and it has been a long time since the last time he took off his shirt during a concert. Since it seems it isn't going to happen anytime soon (wishing that I'm wrong), so yeah me too I'm going to enjoy every bellie glimpses I can find.

this is actually a very good point. It seems that he likes to make his songs not about himself. That's what the use of characters seems to be. He writes a song and then presents it as a song about a character. It's understandable - he's quite honest in his writing and some of that stuff just aren't things most people would like to tell about themselves. When he explains his lyrics, he often says something very generic. I remember I watched an interview in which he was talking about 21CB songs, and I must admit I was curious about what he'd say about RHS. He let Mike answer and Mike said it's about how pharmacutical industry uses advertising to brainwash people to buy meds. I'm not saying it's not a plausible explanation of the lyrics, it's just an example of how Billie/the band make songs less personal.

His bellie looks so perfect in that first pic. Also, I love hearing him sing Still Breathing live. The fact that he seems so vulnerable as he sings the first verse and then he becomes so powerful as he belts out the chorus. He's such an amazing performer.

Billie looks in great shape, these pictures make me so happy! The new hair is surprisingly short but also surprisingly good on him as soon as it goes wild and sweaty. And indeed we can see his face very well, such a blessing, every millimeter of it is beautiful.

Yes, she is one of the best teachers I ever had. I sent her the link to Turn It Around movie web site one week ago and, before the class started this week, she told me that she put it to the top of her list of movies she wants to watch. Too bad she will have to wait for the dvd to come out.

Do you know how painful it is to try to describe exactly what fangirling is and what spam is etc? Like, posts that aren't on the subject of fangirling are the posts that aren't welcome . Fangirling has a loose definition so we've always allowed a wide range of types of posts that could be considered on topic. But if you have something to say about the band that isn't fangirly it doesn't need to automatically be brought up here if it's already being discussed somewhere else or there's a more relevant thread for it. If you want a place to post every good GD picture you want to share, rather than post one because it's particularly worthy of fangirl discussion or to illustrate a point, you can use the picture threads. If a back and forth between a couple of people that doesn't involve GD goes on too long or happens too often it becomes spam/unwelcome. Ditto if someone's posting silliness just to keep the thread going instead of waiting until they actually have something to fangirl about. Some occasional off topic convo is alright in most threads, but when there's already millions of legit fangirl post being made and it keeps happening more and more often it starts to make the thread horrible to read. Does that cover it? Like I said it's kind of painful to explain all this. Basically the old thread became impossible to follow because of the amount of posts that were things other than worthwhile fangirling posts, doesn't seem like rocket science.

I suggest a new name: "Fangirls/boys Gone Wild"

Re Billie’s hair, if you look at much older pics with his hair off his forehead, he has a sort of widows peak but it’s like it’s not asymmetric, it’s just his natural hairline, I like it, it seems a little quirky Shame on you thinking he has implants, with that head of hair Oh, and Billie Joe is sooooooo hawt

The new hairstyle, the chipped nail polish, the shorts sleeves, the tattoos, and the little smile at the end . I'm so happy they're back- they seem so refreshed from their little break

My girlfriend is a physiotherapist and she once had a client that work in the amphitheater of my city to give therapist massage for band/athlete/and all kind of people doing show. When Green Day came in my city in March she gave a massage to Tre Cool. To thank her, Tre give her his drum sticks. But she don't know the band very well, so my girlfriend tell her about me, that I'm a big fan. She was kind enough to gives us the drum stick... for 100$. Now I have 2 sticks hanging on my living room. Yeh!
