Exactly. To my mind the band is a trio who are joined for performances by Jeff and the two Jason's.

I know they say he is a permanent member of the band, but they don't act like he is. He isn't included in any of the promos they do, he hasn't been included in any of the instagrams, etc. I also still think of them as a trio.
