I suggest we do parodies of The Network or FBHT next. Yes. At least the more upbeat songs have the excuse that they're probably not supposed to be deep or thoughtful - they're just random fun.

I think it's easier to sing this way. I've been thinking about it a lot lately and it's the only reason I could come up with. "And I couldn't really care less" would be slightly longer and maybe more difficult to pronounce without changing the melody a bit. Exactly, I feel the same about it. In a slow, thoughtful song that seems to focus on the lyrics, especially a song like The Forgotten (these were supposed to be deep, y'know?) it's much more difficult to overhear them being weak. You're kind of forced to listen to those lyrics even if you don't really want to, because there is less to focus on instead.

I feel like I can relate to 2000 Light Years Away when I'm in class and my crush is on the other side of the room like I'm invisible. That sounds kind of desperate but that's just me and my crazy teenage mind. Seriously though, if I just changed all the she's and her's in the song to he's and him's ,that song would describe my life perfectly. And since I have green eyes like Billie, I can relate to the malakite part too.

Holy Fuck I can't believe this thread is still kicking. Five years ago when I started it, I would have tried to been less stoned and came up with a better title. Ha It has brought me countless hours of laughter and I am about to go read through the latest. Haven't been on these forums in a while but hope everyone is well. Matt is 'local' in that he lives about 30 miles or so from me. I've not seen him perform as it is always when I can;t get there, but he seems l ike such a nice guy. I am beyond thrilled for them all.

My current theory is if you play Dos backwards it's just Mike sobbing and Tre whispering "So much cocaine. So. Much. Cocaine..."
