  1. I thought DRB was Jason. Knowledge is pretty poor unless it's this version.

  5. Nah—the vocals are obnoxious, and the swing Green Day adds to it is much appreciated.

  7. My favorite as well. Although there is one in 39/Smooth that has some cool stuff going on but I can never remember which song it is.

  9. Anything from that area I usually judge with the caveat that they are teenagers when writing the songs. Some of them (particularly from Kerplunk) have some neat little tricks/melodies in them and when you consider their age I don't mind that some of them lack a ton of inventiveness. I get what you mean. You're right the appeal is really in the fact that you can just rip through these songs they aren't a chore to listen to. You can listen to the whole album in the blink of an eye but when you break down the songs there are fantastic lyrics buried in all the snarls. Of course Stuart and The Ave being longer always wins in my book

  11. It's not that bad, just means the swear words are cut out so you can play it around young kids who you don't want repeating them so they get to enjoy more Green Day songs. Or it can get played in shops or workplaces where songs with swearing wouldn't be allowed. Pretty handy really, and the explicit version is still available for anyone who wants it so no harm done.

  12. Even though Dos is generally considered by fans to be the worst album of the trilogy, I think I might prefer it to Uno. There's definitely some songs on Dos that are questionable, but as an album it's more interesting and less bland than Uno. I can hardly listen to Uno all the way through because after a while I get sick of the clean guitars and the plain-ness of the songs. Then again I hardly ever listen to Dos all the way through either. But at least Dos has some crunchier guitars and Lazy Bones is really good!

  13. I think Nightlife has a cool melody, but everything else is cringeworthy. And I love Wow! That's Loud

  20. I enjoy, I find it quite nostalgic too. It's like looking back on your life after everything you've been through. Nice way to end the trilogy.

  21. I love the weird noise Billie makes at the beginning of Missing You on Demolicious. I've listened to all their albums together on shuffle many times but I don't think I've ever done that! Too weird man

  25. That video bugs me so much. He wrote the song about his father and made the video about the war in Iraq. It makes no sense. Could have been a much more emotional video and there would have been no misconceptions about what the song was about.
