15 years ago (2009), Green Day played the 1,500-capacity Akasaka Blitz in Tokyo, Japan.
16 years ago (2008), the Foxboro Hot Tubs played the last show of their "world tour" in Long Beach, CA.
"Last show was LBC where we practiced some lushotology at the establishment , Pikes pub and fish grill.. Then to the club called Alex's Bar. The day of the dead decor was on fire! Tall boys of Tacate and Pabst blue ribbon unraveled through the house! Damn!
I want to thank Alex for lending me his surfboard for the me and One Eye Jack's grand entrance to the stage! It was a perfect ending!
STING STING STING!
And with that said, thanks to all the Tub Heads for coming out for our first tour. Will there be more?
I got you on my mind, england…
STING!!!!!"

22 years ago (2002), Green Day played Camden, NJ on the Pop Disaster Tour.
26 years ago (1998), they played Hersey, PA on the Nimrod Tour.
29 years ago (1995), they played a second night in Oakland in aid of Bay Area homeless organisations.
30 years ago, they played the 1994 Bergslagsrocken Festival on the Dookie Tour.
31 years ago (1993), they played one of many shows at Berkeley Square. That could actually be added to the list of Bay Area landmarks because they played there so often.
32 years ago (1992), they played 21 live tracks at WMFU Studios in New Jersey. This is the performance found on the Radio Daze and On the Radio bootleg albums. I only know of their existence because my mum was collecting that stuff when I was still young enough to remember all the useless information that came my way.
35 years ago (1989), Green Day's first EP, 1000 Hours, was released.
