Yeah, i know there are a lot of costs involved, a lot o people that must be payed from the revenue, but it's getting harded to pay concert tickets sometimes. From a brazilian perspective, we got shows here that costs literally over a minimum wage to get acess to premium tickets and to get a 'front row'. I can't accept this as a normal thing

DM me if you have any questions, I can help you with structuring a simple story or edit what you have. Go to a bookstore and see some examples in your chosen age range Or you can reach out to this person and ask if they’d make a custom Green Day book hecreative.com (link isn’t copying) -
With the costs of touring today, they may not be able to lower it by much. And Green Day brings along three other bands to give the audience more value for their money and they all have to be paid. I would love to see the actual expense sheet of a single stadium show to see where all the revenue goes but I know literally hundreds of people and companies get paid out of that ticket money.

Reddit took off... I'm so glad that people can come together over a simple idea.. Green Day would kick ASS as a childrens book. Your idea was perfect also, to do a book on each era and show the friendship. This is gonna be a lot of research and I feel so lost. But as a HUGE Green Day fan since 9 years old with nothing but time and YouTube videos of the boys I think I got this, hopefully... -

Looks like you’re getting a lot of good feedback on reddit and a few artist volunteers. Show us when it’s done -
cool action, but I just don't think resellers are the only problem. The band should also care for the high priced tickets their concerts have from the start

Your raising that kid right! I used to write stories and enter them in contests for some extra cash, but I've failed everytime, so I don't know if I can help you there, lol. I might be able to help with the name. Let me think for a while.... - Yesterday

This sounds so fun. So many ways you can go there’s no right answer. Just to throw some thoughts out there you’d first want to consider the target age group so that it’s written with the child’s comprehension and interest in mind. As for art, unless you have art skills, there are so many great artists that are fans out there. See one who does work you like in the right style? Ask them to illustrate your book as a fun project. Now if it was me, (I’m a writer myself) I think it would be cute to do a series, a book for each era, but with cartoon images of Green Day as little kids, but in their iconic looks for each one (Dookie, Nimrod/Warning, AI, etc), each book telling a simple story around being in a band and making music, focusing on friendship and doing what you love. What do you think? -

Hello, my name is Jon. I am a 28 year old Male and I have a 2 ALMOST 3 year old. He is my entire world. He too is a HUGE Green Day fan, everytime I ask him "What do you want to listen to?" He says, "Green Day!" He loves One Eyed Bastard because he gets to say "son of a bitch!" (Don't judge me, I can raise my kid how I want to. He is very polite and has manners.) It's funny that he thinks a swear word he has to ask permission and whisper but when he's signing to a song, which is Green Day and Kid's music; he BELTS it! I am not TOO artsy but I've been messing around with procreate and I'm having some fun with it. I was just smoking outside and I had a high thought... What if I were to make a Green Day kids book? If anyone has ANY tips on how to get better at childrens art (chibi, not too crazy detailed) I would really appreciate the help! My messages are open... BUT!!! Here's the fun part!! What would I call it? Where would I start? What eras would I cover? I'm thinking an era per page, but what lore should I put in it? There's lots to think of. Thanks in advanced, Jon. -
Have you heard any Saviors Song in the Radio?

One of the big Chicago alternative radio stations plays Dilemma like 3-4 times a day, sometimes more. They usually do this with any Green Day single. It is funny that I hear these new singles in heavy rotation, and the second they hit #1 on the charts, radio play immediately goes down -

Same with me, the only Green Day song that I have ever heard in a shop was at my local Vintage Clothing store; their store radio played Welcome to Paradise. The rest of their music was the Ramones, the Kinks, etc. I'm not complaining, I love the Ramones, haha. Your opinion totally counts to me. -

I don't really listen to radio so my experience probably doesn't matter at all. But sometimes I hear some of Green Day's big singles playing in the background in my local shop. I don't think I've ever heard a Saviors song played though. Generally just singles from American Idiot or Dookie -
Just saw this article and thought I would put it here (if it has not been said aready) 👀: https://wcyy.com/green-day-portland-maine-nineteen-years-ago/

On this day 2 years ago (29 April 2022), Green Day played the Shaky Knees Festival, where Jakob joined Billie Joe on guitar for She. More photos: 19 years ago (2005), Green Day played in Manchester, NH on the American Idiot Tour. And 22 years ago (2002), they played in Oakland on the Pop Disaster Tour.

The only songs I’ve heard on the radio are TADIKM and Dilemma recently a bunch on q101.1 in Chicago. -
I think Father to a Son has too mich instrumental and too few vocals to be played in radio

In Austria oe3 plays Saviors songs from time to time (especially TADIKM, Bobby Sox and Dilemma). That's quite a success since they didn't really play the songs from RevRad or FOAM. -
I think it's not a FOAM left over, but I think they started recording demos for Saviors in late 2020 with Butch Walker and later decided to record the album with Rob Cavallo. Maybe also for legal reasons they listed Butch Walker on every track for additional engineering.
