Even if they were to censor it, plenty of people in the stadium would still be filming it. The uncensored version would be posted somewhere almost immediately.

It’s for a ceremony where they’re ’ushering’ past Super Bowl mvps onto the field. I highly doubt the they’ll say anything political and they probably won’t even play American idiot. I could be wrong but don’t get your hopes up.

Ever since Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson the Super Bowl has performers on a delay. Should GD say anything they would blur out any crushing so while he might say something it will be bleeped definitely.

It’s ok to love Green Day and call out Joey a 22 year old adult for even thinking let alone wanting anything to do with a 16 year old child…if that was someone’s daughter or sister on here I wonder if they’d stick up for Joey?….great cover still not sure who sings what wish the vocals were louder. 7/10. Late to this conversation since I am not on here much anymore, but I was pumped when I first heard this announcement a week ago. Now we just need to get my Patriots into the Super Bowl. 😀 I have always wanted to see Green Day perform at a Super Bowl, so this is a dream come true. Also, I am not sure if this is accurate or not, but I am hearing rumblings of Green Day also joining Bad Bunny for part of the halftime show. Seems like an interesting pairing, but I am curious if anyone else hear has heard anything like that?
