i've only had one singular green day related dream in my life and i'm sad that it wasnt longer... i also hardly remember anything here but here we go: since cemetry by silverchair was playing on my speaker and i was about to wake up (i regularly sleep to silverchair), the last bit of the dream was green day doing a cover of that song live somewhere around '94 in this very enclosed space, but somehow billie sounded like daniel johns... And billies pants were down... completely. probably cuz i found out at the time there are pictures of naked bj out there now thats its been 2 months since ive had that dream, i remember being up on that stage for a bit. the last bit of the dream that i remember isn't green day related is this... i was on my bed and like i was able to just spawn a daniel johns?? what? so i was spawning a bunch daniel johns' (you only get to have one daniel johns simultaneously) that just sat there looking stupid and then out of nowhere i just spawned a daniel johns that was crawling towards me. dream ends. wow... yes that was part of the same dream i think this is the last dream i've remembered enough to write down. im not sure what any of that was about but okay i guess

clickbait is really annoying to see... just before i stopped being a big soad fan, i heard, just after their 2026 tour (i think) was announced, that was their last tour... seriously? soads last tour? like, hey... theyre old and serj doesn't really like touring. but that most definitely is not their last tour. i hate seeing clickbait like that on top of that, i moderate a soad server on discord, so i was extra prone to seeing "soads last tour" all the time. glad that's over though

There's a traditional with GD that has followed them for 30 years+. "Expect the unexpected". Even after the release of Nimrod 25th in Jan' '23, there was an air of despondency on here on when the new album would be released. I think it was late spring when it was confirmed that Saviors wouldn't be released until Jan' '24. Gloom descended on here. "What are the band doing" " Why is nothing happening" " Why are the band keeping us waiting." Little did we know what the band where planning to shower us with treat after treat as they always do. And didn't they do well. An awesome album, plus deluxe version, and tour, the latter extended and added to again, 3 more box sets, and a Pinhead Gunpowder album thrown in for good measure. And just now the Coverups back with a suprise show. So for me I'm trying to contain my excitement. Things may seem a tad quiet on the surface in Green Day land. But I'll wager the band are up to something. Can't wait.

Clickbait has been around for a long time. But the most recent annoying thing is a bunch of posts and articles with the headline "BAD NEWS FOR GREEN DAY FANS" and they taking quotes from Green Day out of context, dramatizing the fact that they are taking a break. They are doing it with Disturbed as well. Green Day and Disturbed are wrapping up their album and touring cycles. Yes, they are tired. Yes, they want to go home and sit on the couch and eat a sandwich or whatever. But all these articles are making it seem like the bands are over, kaput, disbanded, defeated, destroyed, dead, burning down in the flames, dead. But it's the normal cycle of things. Band promoted an album, goes on tour, takes 2 or 3 years and then does it all over again. There's nothing else going on. And the fact is, we don't see all the behind the scenes stuff. We don't really know what bands are doing that we don't see or hear. They might be planning ahead, having business meetings, signing contracts and deals, merchandise stuff. deciding what hairstyles or outfits will be next. What books or movies have inspired them. Not just farting on the couch with a dog in their lap or swimming in a pool made of diamonds with Mistress Simone putting a belt sander on them or whatever.

It's me again, with another Green Day concert dream (I think I'm just missing the tour). This time I dreamed that they were playing a show in Amsterdam, but it was a very weird location. It was indoors, kind of felt like it could have been a shopping mall type of building? Like I remember I rode down an escalator to go down to the "pit". And the stage was like a kid's play ground thing (like these ones with sort of slides and "towers" that are interconnected by hanging tunnels or bridges), but huge! And there was a pause in the show for some reason, during which I met a colleague who was also at the show, and then he got pulled on stage for KYE I also suspect I have had this dream before, or a similar one, but cannot consciously remember it, because at some point in the dream I had the certainty someone I know was gonna get pulled on stage, and I was trying to remember who, like I had already seen it happen.

Sounds interesting. Although I know nothing about Courtney Love.
