That is a great buy, really underappreciated album. I remember having "Fashion Victim" in my english-book in school, in the 11th grade I believe it was.

In this kind of events there's always some kind of technical things like that, or a pre-recorded tracks

Nice one. vinyl rules.

Wow, had to find my scrawled notes to get total. But hay, thanks loads. I've just been on an emotional rollercoaster reliving all those amazing live show memories. Kerplunk tour 3. Dookie 7 Insomniac 0 (If memory correct only I show in Brixton, when I trashed my motorbike and broke me leg. lol). Nimrod 5 Reading festival 2 (don't really like festivals) Warning 2 AI 6 (including trip abroad to Amsterdam, and found heaven at Milton Keynes) T in the Park, Scotland. 21st Century Breakdown 6 (Wembley Stadium, oh shit, back in heaven again) Trilogy 1 Rev Rad 5 Hela Mega Tour 1 Saviors 4 (including memorable surprise show at Marquis pub in London, as was in town for Saviors promo 2 days later, but was cancelled as band members where sick. I remember being so sad and worried until got news they would be ok, thanks to update on here). Download Festival 1. 42 in total I think. Thanks for the journey GD. Oh shit, the missus has just come in the room, tears running down me face. 😂

Without the horrendous autotune then, I hope... Always wondered that the heck happened there 🤔

Those things are always chaotic and too short and after you’re like what did I say but I still can’t believe they even did a meet and greet they never do them on tour

Green Day will open the Super Bowl 2026
pacejunkie punk replied to Mollyluna's topic in Green Day Chat
Awesome and I’ll be watching in California too. Now I just hope the Rams are in it and it’ll be perfect. During the Rams/Bears game yesterday they had a commercial for Green Day’s Superbowl appearance and it was really long with clips of concert footage I was psyched to see so much promo for this. -
The latest Green Day item you bought

15 music albums and songs that proved 1991 was indeed the greatest year for rock and roll Story by Kalzang Uzor Gurung. He says: "1991 was a turning point that reshaped rock, alternative, and pop culture forever. With icons like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Guns N’ Roses, RHCP, and more dropping records, the albums on this list topped charts and changed the sound and direction of the entire decade." And at no. 3 is Green Day with Kerplunk. (should be no 1.) 3. Kerplunk, Green Day (1991) - Lookout! Records Kerplunk introduced their classic trio lineup and showcased the melodic, fast, emotionally charged pop-punk sound that would later take over the world. Songs like “Welcome to Paradise,” “Christie Rd.,” and “2000 Light Years Away” helped them build a fiercely loyal underground following and land a major label deal. Without Kerplunk, there’s no Dookie and no pop-punk boom in the ’90s. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/entertainment/music/15-music-albums-and-songs-that-proved-1991-was-indeed-the-greatest-year-for-rock-and-roll/ss-AA1UtCzN?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=EDGEDB&cvid=696d374fb99d4fd9869b7c3cd5ffe32a&ei=38#image=14:~:text=Sponsored,in the ’90s.

My favorite Billie is American Idiot Billie, but I have a huge bias for that era. I think Saviors might come second, I just really like how healthy, both physically and mentally, he looks right now. Out of curiosity, how many GD shows have you been to?
-
Y'know, its kinda random but honestly i dont know the names of a load of songs on nimrod cause the CD i have is a recorded one so it doesnt say the names of the songs on it lmaoo 😭

Green Day will open the Super Bowl 2026
Reverend Strychnine Twitch replied to Mollyluna's topic in Green Day Chat
They will perform 'Stuck With Me', 'Armatage Shanks' and yes you guessed it right... 'Take Back' 🔥🔥🔥 -
My dad would always sing "woah oh, bitches in paradise" no matter how many times I pleaded with him to stop lol.
-
EEEEEEE!!!! y'all the meet n greet was SO fast. The guys were so nice but didn't make conversation that much bc Billie said "you have my dog on your shirt!" I laughed and said he should bring the longshot back, we took the picture and I was out the room. I think they brought us to the pr room so the energy in there was so chaotic. Me and my brother were cheesing when we got back to our seats. He got a fist bump from Mike! The set was so fun! same ol songs but I was in need of a concert so I enjoyed it so much.

Green Day will open the Super Bowl 2026
Little Boy Named Booze replied to Mollyluna's topic in Green Day Chat
NFL being my favourite sport with NHL, I can't wait to see this. Biggest sport in America, Green Day will get fucking mainstream and everywhere if they tell the piggy POTUS to stay quiet on stage. Would be so cool to call him and ICE. -
I think what we're going to get could possible be something like this? (I don't know anything about sport events lol) If they're playing a mashup I think they could play One Eyed Bastard and Basket Case. At least. I am becoming more and more interested in what goes into deciding what songs make it to the setlist and why.

I heard about this, good for them. Pretty unexpected ngl.

Suddenly I care about the super bowl. This is exciting! The super bowl is being held here in the bay area this year, so it makes sense that a bay area band will do a pre-game performance. I wish they got chosen to do the half time show, oh well

Yes, it will be broadcasted. From Green Day Italy YouTube post: The ceremony airs live at 3 p.m. PT on NBC, Telemundo, Peacock and Universo
