The Green Day store is password locked and says something is “Coming soon”!!!
GDFan2019 posted a topic in Green Day Chat
I’m surprised nobody made a thread about this already!!! It’s all over Green Day social media fan pages!!! What could it be? https://store.greenday.com/password - Today

Dookie and AI box sets are still my favorites. Nimrod is pretty good. Warning just wasn't that interesting. It felt rushed to me. The live album is okay but no something I would listen to again. Overall, the box set was forgettable. I hope future box sets have more time and care put into them like Dookie and AI.

Even if it's just new merch it's still fun to see what they do. I always expect nothing, but I'm having fun with the clowning.
-
Probably just new merch since it appears only in the "store" tab, but I'm sure we'll have a live album this year, so maybe...
-
I am managing my expectations. I don't know how merch stores handle maintenance? But if it's something *new* maybe social media posts will come when the shop is back up? No matter what it is very excited!!
-
Yes?!??! Exciting !!!😃 Edit: But I wonder why they don’t tease anything on social media?

Their store is password protected and says coming soon?

Lots more chart data here: https://www.forbes.com/sites/hughmcintyre/2026/02/21/green-day-charts-a-new-hit-with-one-of-the-bands-most-famous-songs/ Didn’t realize Dilemma wasn’t more of a hit on this particular chart. So many confusing variations of charts for rock and alternative.

This morning I‘ve found this on IG. Nice!😍

1. Dookie 2. American Idiot 3. Warning -- 4. Nimrod (i think there could have been a bit more demos) -- 5. Insomniac (if they didnt wanna go through with a full box then why include part of a live show rather than putting DWFL, J.A.R, You Lied, Rotting, Good Riddance, Do Da Da and TV onto that second disk?)

That version of "2,000 Light Years Away" was the Kerplunk recording remixed by Rob Cavallo and Jerry Finn to sound more like Dookie's production (Andy Ernst is still credited as the engineer). The version re-recorded in 1993 is still unreleased, probably unmixed. Originally, I thought Richard Dodd remixed the whole album; there was a rumor that the Australian Dookie/Nimrod two-pack featured his remixes instead of the standard release. That seems to be untrue (it seems to just be the exact same CD as the standard Australian release). On the contrary, I found an interview with Richard Dodd that confirms the opposite: Source: https://www.mixonline.com/technology/richard-dodd-online-extra-378080 He mentions only remixing the radio singles. The only released tracks are as follows: Good Riddance Redundant Prosthetic Head You Lied No word on whether remixes were ever made of "Hitchin' a Ride" or "Nice Guys Finish Last." Not sure why "You Lied" was included as well.

What the hell did I just read? I think what I like the most about it is that it looks and feels like a website from 1997.

aint that a kick in your head? second pose aint drawn as well as the first, but i hated the pose a lot and couldnt even freehand the hands like i usually do... anyways i'll finish these when i get to it. also, the fink + rev bromance i said i was gonna add here over a week ago... (im never finishing that)

im gonna put this here cuz i still really really really like this outfit n i also found more pictures of it today... Ok (I like this one especially)

2,000 light years away’s re-recorded song can be heard on the jerky boys soundtrack and on YouTube. I love it. The Richard Dood remix of nimrod did he remix the whole album and why? If so is that available on YouTube or anywhere? Insomniac has imo the best live tracks they are super fast and raw and peak 90’s GD love the speed of the songs. 21st century breakdown will be the best re release on my view

Amy is to Green Day as Candle In The Wind is to Elton John. This post is brought to you by Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.

Interesting, I wonder how they'd incorporate that. Like it'd be interesting to have it actually added to the sequence of the album, as opposed to tacked on the end. On that note, I was looking up the Australian bonus track version on Discogs, and it claims that "You Lied" was the remix by Richard Dodd, but I don't see mention of that on the CD. That mix would have been on the Good Riddance single, though. Like I said earlier, it'd be nice to have a home for the radio remixes, though they're not as drastic as the Otis remixes from Warning. The Dodd remixes of Redundant and Good Riddance would have been the hit single versions, yet they're pretty rare nowadays. You'd think the greatest hits album(s) would provide a home for them. I think you can still hear the remix of Redundant on the music video, but the audio for Good Riddance might be subbed out. I think Insomniac's only remix was Walking Contradiction; you can still hear Steve Holroyd's remix on the music video. If a proper Insomniac anniversary set gets released down the line, that and the original Good Riddance are prime candidates.

A little over a year and a half since Saviors came out, so when could we start hearing any rumors or hints about album 15?
That Dude replied to GDFan2019's topic in Green Day Chat

Perhaps you’re right and it’s a local radio thing only! But then again many ppl from across the country has claimed to have to heard it before so maybe it was a thing warner made and distributed to radio stations.
-
I'm convinced that it was through digital distribution; I've tracked down all the US radio single CDs, and even tried some foreign Holiday singles, but none had that edit. It might be specific to a radio station, if not for feedback from other people around the country back when I was on the hunt.
-
The only versions I know of are the Radio Edit (with "Sieg Heil" completely silenced and "F*gs" censored) and the Clean Radio Edit (with "F*gs" censored), on both those edits the last chorus starts at around 3:03. If the bridge was cut the last chorus would start on around 2:18 and the whole song would be around 3:03 long. Maybe the version you're mentioning was done by local radio stations and was never pressed on CD's? I'm not sure. I have never seen any Holiday promo CD's out there with such an edit, but I don't want to discourage you in your quest That one BOBD promo with the Pop edits only popped up a few yeas ago, so one like that for "Holiday" might be sold some day.

Looks like there will be a video with Mike soon on a popular Scott's Bass Lessons channel!

Dookie one is almost perfect (Barcelona previously unreleased + Christie road studio versión) Nimrod should include suffocate and desensitized on the album. Bille said he regrets not including them in the original, so It was an oportunity to correct that. I hate the low volume of live tracks of american idiot and warning. Sounds like bootlegs

The engraving inside a ring lasts years and years, it’s the outside that wears which is why most wedding rings are plain. Billie has had a number, some have looked gold, possibly platinum but all plain, some different shapes and widths and then the dark one he has been wearing for the last couple of years but this one looks very bright gold.
