That’s so cool! I had no idea there was a meet and greet! I would have tried a lot harder to go if I had known that!
- Today
-
I can't believe it either! They rarely do meet and greets now. I do know that cage, good charlotte, and sublime did them too. Not sure about the other bands tho. Was there ever a time they did meet n greets on tour?

You’re probably right. Just reading so many articles about both and probably got confused. Sorry if I got any excited for no reason. -

This performance is the invite only show on Friday. You may be thinking of the Superbowl opening ceremony performance Sunday. That one is being broadcast before the game -

I keep reading that it will be broadcast but who really knows how much of it will be with commercials and other football related coverage needed prior to the game. Fingers crossed it’s more than I’m imaging. -

Green Day will open the Super Bowl 2026

Nice Guys Finish Last - Basket Case - When I Come Around 🙂 -
this will be the best super bowl ever i always watch it and all of the season, but i always hoped for great super bowl acts too bad they wont do the halftime show, but this is still huge af! i guess it will be some sort of mashup/song-transitions my best guess would be AI-OEB-BasketCase but maybe they get asked to play sth less political and less "punchy punkrock in your face", because this will be still a ceremony for the old mvp's hard to guess honestly

Wow! That is a lot! And you answered what would have been my next question, which is if you had been to a show for every era since Kerplunk (sorry you broke your leg and had to miss Insomniac! hope it healed nicely!). And I counted 44 (assuming the festivals are not included in the album eras, since you listed them separately). I'm a bit jealous... not only the amount of shows and basically from every era, but also some legendary ones (Milton Keynes, Wembley Stadium, Marquis .. you've literally been to the biggest and the smallest) 🥹 Glad you enjoyed reminiscing all this

That is a great buy, really underappreciated album. I remember having "Fashion Victim" in my english-book in school, in the 11th grade I believe it was.
-
In this kind of events there's always some kind of technical things like that, or a pre-recorded tracks
-
Nice one. vinyl rules.

Wow, had to find my scrawled notes to get total. But hay, thanks loads. I've just been on an emotional rollercoaster reliving all those amazing live show memories. Kerplunk tour 3. Dookie 7 Insomniac 0 (If memory correct only I show in Brixton, when I trashed my motorbike and broke me leg. lol). Nimrod 5 Reading festival 2 (don't really like festivals) Warning 2 AI 6 (including trip abroad to Amsterdam, and found heaven at Milton Keynes) T in the Park, Scotland. 21st Century Breakdown 6 (Wembley Stadium, oh shit, back in heaven again) Trilogy 1 Rev Rad 5 Hela Mega Tour 1 Saviors 4 (including memorable surprise show at Marquis pub in London, as was in town for Saviors promo 2 days later, but was cancelled as band members where sick. I remember being so sad and worried until got news they would be ok, thanks to update on here). Download Festival 1. 42 in total I think. Thanks for the journey GD. Oh shit, the missus has just come in the room, tears running down me face. 😂

Without the horrendous autotune then, I hope... Always wondered that the heck happened there 🤔
-
Those things are always chaotic and too short and after you’re like what did I say but I still can’t believe they even did a meet and greet they never do them on tour

Green Day will open the Super Bowl 2026
pacejunkie punk replied to Mollyluna's topic in Green Day Chat
Awesome and I’ll be watching in California too. Now I just hope the Rams are in it and it’ll be perfect. During the Rams/Bears game yesterday they had a commercial for Green Day’s Superbowl appearance and it was really long with clips of concert footage I was psyched to see so much promo for this. -
The latest Green Day item you bought
