Thanks for providing clarification and adding the FAQ! Posts on Instagram said that the only way to see The Coverups was to buy tickets for $500 or above. The FAQ should include that tickets $500 and above are partially tax-deductible ($375 for the $500 tickets). That might influence some people to spend the extra money.

I was at a record store yesterday and they wanted $40 for the Blu-ray version of it, which surprised me! I have the DVD version (which I only paid $6 for 😄) and it made me realize that I need to do a rewatch.

Every time I watch the video I get goose bumps and an adrenaline rush. It takes be back to being there in Milton Keynes on June 18, 2005 the first of two nights. 65,000 fans. Man it was hot, over 30° C I think. I was at the back of stadium, so band were so far away but could still make out Billie Joe running up and down the stage as always, but the two big screens helped. But didn't give a shit, just followed Billie Joe's instructions and went fuckin' crazy and jumping up and down with everyone else. At end of show I was soaking wet from the heat and fans, but I was gone, I'd died and gone to heaven. lol. The movie brings the show close up which is cool. The only disappointment was it's been cut with 5 songs not broadcast and other things. Memories are a wonderful thing, to remember those good time. But to see it again is something else.

Me too! I asked my mum to buy me a Green Day CD and she took me to a record shop in town. The bloke working there started gushing about how they're better live so I should get the live album... and I apparently took that advice very seriously

Our biggest mainstream radio station regularly plays a short version of Holiday, sometimes without the bridge, sometimes without the second verse 😅 but hey, rather a short version than no version of a GD song 😅

Sonically the best live album ever. Amazing what Green Day, CLA and Ted Jensen achieved.

If their movie ever comes out maybe they release a single? Maybe Olivia as that’s the name of the girl in the movie. Then around the movies release we get that love album/dvd

Maybe a standalone single or a loosey goosey side project from Billie. A Sort of Fun Tuesdays solo record or something before the Green Day machine begins anew in 2028. Early 2028 wouldn't be so bad.

Just spent two nights in Berkeley…possibly the original one near Bristol in England. Certainly very old tiny town, no Green Day references at all 😂.

I think you're absolutely right. With 2028 being the most likely, I think. It'll probably bleed into the 21st Century Breakdown anniversary box set. Or the other way around. Wether they'll be 100% on a break until then. I don't know. But I don't see new music (at least nothing related to an album) before that.
