doing the inspect element equivalent to making silly edits of songs to some setlists makes me wonder how many great setlists bootleggers are truly gatekeeping from the general public (full Prauge 96, Bottom of the Hill 99, the show where American Idiot and JOS debuted, etc etc)

surprisingly i probably don't know even more than 5. the only ones i can recall are longview, king for a day, and jaded, despite the fact that i fixate on one of their songs plenty of times and long enough time to know the lyrics to it. maybe it could be because i'm a fairly fresh green days fan, but when i first got into soad, i pretty much knew their entire discography in less than a year. oh well!

Sometimes I type Green Day into the spotify search and scroll through to find stuff like this. Lots of covers, joke songs and name drops if you dig in. I would like to find songs the guys have written for other artists or collaborated with but there aren't that many.

This is SO funny!š I know the German band but I didnāt know that song. Thanks for sharing!

The next albums will probably be out in Late March / Early April of 2027. I guess whenever the first rumblings start, either by illicit l-e-a-k-s or the band themselves mentioning something. Mike might say "we're firing on all cylinders". Billie would say "ya know, writing, ya know ya know ya know ya know" and tre would say "Sometimes ninja's do the doo whop in the chocolate rain. Sometimes they do it at the make out party"

The documentary series is really cool. The songs totally fits the intro. And very happy that you hear quite a bit of it in every episode.

imo rather than only releasing Prosthetic Head in Germany and making Nice Guys its own single for some unknown reason, they should have just made Prosthetic Head and Nice Guys 1 combined single with like, 1 or 2 studio outtakes (Full band Alison and DUI?)
-
Redundant and Prosthetic Head both got āwide mixesā back in the day and it always puzzled me. Why in 1997 would you create a mix specifically dedicated to a wide soundstage mix? Car stereos. Mid-late ā90ās is when CD players in cars started to become prevalent and unlike most hi-fi setups or even computer speakers, car stereos are wide by their very nature because of the speakerās position in the doors. Makes sense to experiment with mixing towards that at the time.
