I did several advanced searches along the lines of: ["green day" "new song" before:2010], ["green day" "leaked song" before:2010], ["green day" "last night on earth" before:05/15/2009], and so on. The only instrumental I found was this, which I guess is clickbait for whatever that website was. I don't listen to Oasis so I can't judge whether that's even in the ballpark. I do wonder if this factors into your memory at all, maybe conflating two different things, since it is called Last Night on Earth. Also, barely related since it fits neither part, but this song is interesting because it doesn't seem to be online anywhere else based on searching the lyrics. All that said, search engines are pretty janky nowadays, inserting what they think you want to see even when you use the advanced options, so nothing definitive. Just what I found.
