Saviors songs that will get played beyond this tour...
alecandstuff replied to Anarchist2112's topic in Green Day Chat
Honestly? Considering their setlist up until this point, I think the offerings might be pretty low to non existent. I think we’ll likely get “Dilemma” and “Bobby Sox”, maybe “One Eyed Bastard” if that. Though if you ask me personally I’d vote for a Setlist overhaul and put “Dilemma”, “1981”, and “Susie Chapstick” for their acoustic portion -
Okay so I’m a stickler for audio usually, but is there truly no discernible difference between the originals and these ‘25 remasters? For the life of me I can’t hear much of a difference at all apart from the remixes seeming a bit more open-aired? Though I’m lost on if that’s my ear fatigue listening to the same clips of songs for comparison sake or if I’m truly not hearing what’s there As usual I’m excited to hear the demos, and especially the Otis mixes but apart from that this seems lackluster compared to previous anniversary releases? Feels like there could’ve been more here

Safe to say that they're back to awful marketing? 😅 Strange how they haven't done anything to promote this, other than an IG/Facebook story and a youtube video
-
That's right still nothing. Nothing on main Amazon site either. Only Amazon Music has two options, pre-order CD version and Pre-order MP3 version and partial download album and one demo now.
-
It seems to be like weezer’s Blue 30 where the titles have been changed to include a remastered title, but the actual remastered audio doesn’t release until the full blx set. Because I can vouch that these are legit 100% the exact same audio files at the moment. @ThranaM ^^

Sorry @ThranaM just main album ,12 remastered tracks+ Castaway demo available to buy MP3 from Amazon Music today. Other demos/live tracks for release November 14.
- Today

I agree with you on every point here. The live tracks are good, but to me the quality is so bad (low sounds and not clear enough) that I don't want to listen to them at all. Quite sad tbh, cause I love GDs live tracks..
-
I'm disappointed that we're not hearing any new/unheard demos from this one. Also the fact that there isn't any demo or new mix for Minority is mindboggling. That is the "big hit" from Warning so that's really strange. At least Don't Want To Know If You Are Lonely is gonna be available on streaming now. Idk if it's just me but I've not cared about the live tracks on any of these anniversary releases. I listen to them once and then ignore them entirely. I do quite like the Castaway demo.
-
Wait, all songs are available already?
-
No email yet re pre-orders on GD.com?
-
According to Amazon all album songs are remastered. Having downloaded 13 tracks released today, have played new and original songs through my speakers. I'm sorry I'm struggling to sense any difference. But that could be my hearing or speakers. Although when I play my original vinyl version it's well better, vinyl rules. Maybe when get vinyl box set will notice difference. As I said before, love Castaway demo, can't wait to hear other demos, not to mention live stuff. Previous posts have stated release date in January, but Amazon have stated November, hope they're right.

I thought fashion victim and church on Sunday are not remastered. Will the remastered songs have any noticeable impact on the regular versions?
-
King for a day IS on tune in tokyo. Don't think this one Will be too different. True about platypus. Thanks!
-
According to Spotify all the songs have been remastered. No demos of Warning, Waiting and Minority is so underwhelming. I like this box set but it feels a bit 🤷♂️
-
Church on Sunday not being remastered? Maybe because it’s already perfect?

Really glad you enjoyed! It seems like it was such a special show -

Green Day playing Yaamava' Theater in San Bernardino in September

You’re right, it was a fun energy! People I met in line and people that were sitting around me were true fans and really into the show! Every time I looked around the theater, it seemed like most people were singing along and having a blast! -

I was there, and it was amazing! I was so excited when they played 1981!!! I had been worried that the crowd might be bad, but where I was sitting, everyone was really into the show, on their feet, singing along to all the songs. I wish I could have been at some of the other shows this year, because I would have loved some of the deep cuts from those shows. But it felt special being at this one! -
I feel like warning is the one album that unites all the fans! Something for everybody 💚⚠️ take warning!
-
Pre-ordered the CD set because of course I’m getting this. I already have a Warning t-shirt and sweatshirt from the last merch drop so not sure if I’ll be buying more wearable merch this time around. Hope I don’t see anything new that I gotta have anyway. But I do love Warning 💚

I wonder if Breakdown, Trilogy, Rev Rad, Father of All and Saviors will have worthwhile additions to their 25th or 30th editions. This wack warning release kind of confirms what I've always thought. Green Day like to hold onto their unused songs to use later, and the label is probably holding on to them for when Green Day are no longer around. Green Day will certainly still be around for all these releases. They'll be 77 for the Saviors 25th but hey. I'd place bets they are still rocking. 2070s, yeah - somebody's going to start pumping out collections of unreleased Green Day material and our old, retired butts will buy them all.

ok but what if it was the best meal of your life?
