That really changes but right now most of Kerplunk. As mentioned sometime ago, I‘m listening to the Green Dudes podcast and at the moment I‘m in their Kerplunk section…

I'll be speaking with you when Spotify Wrapped drops. It's gonna be to the point Billie Joe comes to my house and tells me stop wearing out their spotify files, 🤩 What are your most streamed Green Day songs? Mine are Smash it Like Belushi, Dilemma and Strange Days are Here to Stay.

I think it is fun to watch MTV and have it on in the background. I always get excited when it's a song I know, but maybe never seen the music video. I feel like Spotify, Youtube etc. have ruined bands in general. Buying CD's and whatnot supports the band way more than streaming. At least radio still exists (for now until SiriusXM takes over). Yup, pretty sad.

I know it's a bit crazy, but I'm aiming to stream more Green Day than anyone on the planet. It's challenging since I'm also trying to hear every song ever record in the history of the universe, but hey. Current song: Burnout. Ironic? No. Irony, much like destiny - is dead.

It's a sad sad day after learning that MTV channel, launched in 1981, has confirmed it will stop showing rolling music videos after 4 decades. It blames video-sharing apps such as YouTube and TikTok have killed MTV. Back in early '90, there was no streaming, no downloading, no smart phones. Access to internet was limited and expensive, as where computers. MTV ruled. If a band wanted to me noticed then a music video of a song on MTV on many occasions influenced single and album sales. Back then a big part of each day was to watch MTV. One of the first music videos I saw was Longview, which at it's hight got aired several times a day for months. Thanks for the memories MTV. https://www.pressreader.com/ireland/irish-daily-mail/20251011/281968908889011

Here's a crazy crazy thought. When the thread for Warning 25th appeared on here, some where convinced the release date was January 23, 2026. Where did that date come from? Then of course it was corrected to November next month. Also, Nimrod 25th anniversary was October 22, but box set wasn't released until January 27 2023. Maybe January '26 ? ........... 🤪

If you check the International Superhits! DVD rips, there are definitely clear traces of film grain.

    Warning 2025 Remaster?

2 possibilities: either they lost the reels, or they simply didn't shoot on film. It would make sense for the era. It's quicker and cheaper to just shoot to video, and the boys weren't at the height of their fame at the time

    Warning 2025 Remaster?

Yep. They even changed the title of the video to designate it as an upscale. Credit where it's due at least, this is a much better upscale than the one for Nice Guys Finish Last. Still, it's a bit puzzling why they didn't rescan the film negatives.

Short/reel they posted on the left, original video on the right. Safe to say this is an AI upscale

  25. Thank you! Right now I have the impression that my hands are too small.😅 But I hope that more practice will solve that problem. Besides I‘m doing it just for fun. And it really IS fun!😃 I’ve been thinking of those lyrics too…😂

And what an amazing album and brilliant follow up to Dookie. A mere 20 months later following the '94 awesome tour. And then just as you thought things might slow down a tad, the jaw dropping Carry The Banner album is released at end of '94 by Pinhead Gunpowder. Holy shit. Then as anticipation and excitement grew Geek Stink Breath was released in September '95. And then the album. 14 amazing songs. So difficult to choose favourites but if I had to Stuck With Me and the emotional 86. So lucky to live through it, I knew I'd done the right thing, and given my life to GD. ❤️ Love this video
