yknow i wonder if American Dream got killed due to it Losing to Now and Then i know it didnt get instantly dropped after the Grammy's (played during the Australia leg and 2 festivals after the fact), but its absence since April is really shocking (especially since i thought it would be one of the stayers, alongside Dilemma and Bobby)

Thank you! Love this! For a tattoo you should leave out the mic standโฆ๐

If you ever see me walking around with this accidentally tattooed on me, you know why.

Your welcome. I've always felt that GD excell at covers, and they have done so many. For me 'The Kids Are Alright" are in my top 3, along with "Another State of Mind" and "I Fought The Law". Heaven.

Does anyone have a recording of Green Day live in Indonesia 1996?
-
Oh could you maybe post this photo of Kevin kissing Billie here?๐
-
You know you're a fangirl when you're sending inspiration pics to an artist for a (non-GD) tattoo and accidentally attach a picture of Kevin kissing Billie. ๐ณ I love ya boys, but wasn't planning on getting that tattooed. ๐

As well as being blown away listening to GD albums and the euphoria of attending live shows, there's those awesome sessions, GD live in the studio. So many to choose from. My two favs are AOL sessions in New York 2004, visual jaw dropping performance of songs from AI, plus an amazing cover of The Who's "The Kids Are Alright." Not forgetting "Longview" an extended version of "Minority" and band interview at end. Electric. But Imho, the BBC sessions, Maida Studios London, released 2021, including songs from 1994 to 2001 is outstanding. 16 songs on record, plus two not included for some reason, One of My Lies ( my all time fav GD song), and Scattered. The booklet, that came with the record, described in such intimate detail, the recording session. You could almost feel you where there. What an awesome collection.

You can never have too many coffee cups ... (sorry for being your intrusive thoughts, lmao)
-
Lithium is my FAV SiriusXM channel ever, haha. I practically live on that channel. They played Nice Guys Finish Last just a few weeks ago, and I was, of course, excited . They also played the Kerplunk version of Welcome to Paradise!
-
Yeah, it doesn't look like him at all lol. And how dare they minimize the floof!
-
That cup is so cute! Too bad PBC is overpriced for my wallet ๐ฎโ๐จ and honestly I don't need another coffee cup lol
-
I was in the car yesterday listening to Lithium on Sirius and they played a little radio bump from Billie! He was talking about they wanted to broaden their sound on Nimrod and then they played Redundant. I was so excited! I squealed HI BILLIE ๐ my bf asked where Mike "Durst" was ๐ฎโ๐จ

2025/06/30 - Luxexpo Open Air, Luxembourg, Luxembourg

I come here to admit that I was totally wrong about something in the past. I've always complained about them playing covers (even partially or just snippets) during their shows, because "they have any material of their own, and that time could be spent playing some deep cut or something". Well, as it turns out I think I just was not into most of the covers they've been playing. Because two of the highlights of the Luxembourg show for me, and that I keep remembering, are the partial covers of Bohemian Rhapsody and Ziggy Stardust Loved those two moments so much -
Kill the DJ is extremely far for being in my usual Green Day favorite songs, but damn, I love it when it comes up while I'm running. I think it might be my favorite song to run to ๐
