Would love to see Redundant back on the setlist. Full band version, not the stripped back one from the Nimrod tour or acoustic version that was played during the 21cb tour (neither work or do the song justice IMO). The version we got on the BBC sessions. The song has been criminally underused by the band.

Has anyone else been seeing the random ass 21CB single uploads as of late?

There's always something new to learn, and tonight I'm digging into the gear that Green Day used when recording Insomniac. Pretty interesting, as I've rarely thought about what mics and amps they used. There's a lot of info out there about that as well as the guitar, bass and drum set ups they had. Just realized that all of the band's songs with "American" in the title have their most controversial lyrics. Hmm.

Awesome news. Just read your post about getting it all back up and running, really cool story. GDA was always my go to site for Green Day news because the bands official site was (and still is) terrible. It also introduced me to GDC, again a much better fan forum than the official 'Idiot Club' forum. You can't beat fan run sites, they know what fans value more that the official sites. I look forward to checking in on GDA again regularly.

CLA is the goat for real. Every great alternative album in the 00s has his touch and they all sound great. Jerry Finn, Rob Cavallo and Chris Lord Alge are the goats of our era in what they do.

Sorry for the double post I just got my vinyl copies of the deluxe edition (ordered from the web store) and the pink lyric book is different from the "Saviors" promotional run last year, for anyone who might be curious about the lyric book.
