Great decision! What a crazy show, it was soooo hot and the pit was very rough and I've never sweat that much in my life lol. My sister passed out half way through and got pulled out but after 5 minutes resting she wanted to rejoin the crowd so we were over to the side in a quieter area for the rest but still dancing and singing and still joined in the wall of death too. I remember they ended with a fast song with no Good Riddance but that was kind of perfect for such an intense show. I think I heard some trilogy songs for the first time there as well since I'd been avoiding the live recordings before the albums were out. Unforgettable night!

This really is to be appreciated!👏 Here the non-fan husband ("Saviors is a really good album but I don't need the rest...") actively looked for Holiday on Spotify and listened to it! No deep cuts though...

On a similar vein to this... When your partner, who can been quoted saying that "their only good song is Wake Me Up When September Ends" (I know 🙄), is nearly constantly humming some Green Day deep cuts because of how often you play their music at home (last night it was Deadbeat Holiday, I was very proud of him )

I do think Tré came out that night and said (joking) that Billie had laringitis too! What a night that was, I made a rash decision booking the trip before I had gotten a ticket, but thankfully it all worked out!

There was a delay with the show starting before Tre came out and did that and no one knew why or thought anything of it. But it came out in an interview months later it was because Billie's people were concerned for him and had been trying to convince him to cancel the show and go to rehab, but he refused. The "sick" thing was a different show that was cancelled. This was all within a month before the iHeart incident. Had no idea at the time and it was an amazing show! Pit was crazy. Appreciate it even more now, Billie's dedication is admirable Epic wall of death

I've still got the mag somewhere and kinda remember the article. Them where the days. News on GD was either via these mags, underground record shops or MTV. No internet, smart phones, laptops, streaming, downloading, or social media. 😯 If I can't find it I'll buy the one on eBay and post on here if anyone's interested?

I picked up an old Music Week magazine from 2012 with one of the Green Day trilogy photo shoot pics on the front. There's no article inside but there's a full page advert for the show at Shepherds Bush Empire which I've never seen before. I didn't even think it had been advertised at the time. Will have to post a photo when I get the chance.

And kids too. He for sure prioritizes picking women but he does the same with kids for obvious reasons and in general anyone that stands out to him with hair or clothing. His answer seemed more like the right thing to say than a really thoughtful response. Sounded good but not sure how true it was

Good Riddance had a significant lead over Wake Me Up When September Ends for reaching 1 billion streams, but suddenly Wake has made massive gains and could possibly surpass Good Riddance. It's a slow week guys, what can I say? It's not question but a lesson learned in time. Wake me up when November explodes.
