This looks really good and I like that it’s properly centered on Green Day as the central plot. They’re not downplaying their role at all and trying to just make a generic road trip film. I hope it draws a good sized audience it should do more than Ordinary World did which wasn’t a Green Day movie There’s gonna be so many fun easter eggs in this. The kid onstage with the dreadlocks really looked like 1993 Billie for a second. I do have one complaint though — that Bunny is too clean!

Trailer is here! Looks better than I was anticipating. From the brief flashes we get it’s nice to see the boys looking properly cinematic. Part of my problem with Ordinary World is that it looked as indie low budget as it was.

I love how the Nimrod Wallpaper (seen in the first 30 seconds) I made yeeears ago gains momentum again. A few days ago I won an auction of a counterfeit tape version of "Nimrod" which used the wallpaper I made. Will watch the rest of the video later.

Warning has since gone platinum and minority went number 1 on rock radio. I agree it’s underrated. But Insomniac now that’s the overlooked, underrated perfect album that next to Dookie and AI is their 3rd best selling album. If only they would do a nimrod-insomniac tour…my God!

i wouldnt count on a major haushinka or 80 like deep cut id say, if they dont play it during the rest of this South American Leg nor during Riot fest, they'll probably pull Geek Stink Breath or maybe even Nice Guys out

Yeah, 1 is all I expect at Riot and I’m fine with that lol. I adore this band but they don’t change up often so even 1 deeper cut/change in the set list brings me joy lol.

Seeing the videos of yesterday’s show I think the crowd absolutely deserved this level of energy by the band and all those deep cuts!

To be fair with the South American fans, the frequency with which they tour South America is much lower than the frequency of US / Europe tours, and the intensity of the South American tours is also lower (more rest between shows. In US and Europe is not uncommon that they play two nights in a row, and have only one night off between the other shows), so it's nice that when they finally do go there, they make the wait worth it. Also the crowds in South America I think are spicier than the crowds in US and Europe, you can kind of feel it from the videos, but it's also been my experience: to this day, the crowd for their show in Venezuela is by far the craziest crowd of any Green Day concert I've been to. I guess they also feed off that. The lesson for us fans: save money to go to their South American tours if it is within our means Yeah I think it'll be the "standard" 1 or 2 deep cuts. Just not four 😅

They did Youngblood in minnesota back in July, so I would assume that we'll get at least one deep cut. Maybe Saviors will come back as well.

They won’t, they’ll come back to the states and they’ll do a greatest hits set. They’re like a different band when they play South America it’s like this every time.
