Yeah this is a big part of what helped me decide to try and do more. There are some great communities out there, but reading comments on social media is depressing. It’s hard on a platform like that where you can’t moderate like you can on a forum. There are people doing good things out there, but I like the idea of something more tangible than just a feed to scroll past.

So glad to see this. Both GDA and GDC have such special places in my heart as I have made lifelong friends & countless memories through this site. I'm not going anywhere!

Wow! Great news!! 🥳 Make GDC great again. Gonna try to be more online and active like I was before. Would be cool to eventually bring back GDC Awards, April Fools day, speculations.... etc

Welcome back and as @pacejunkie punk said, thank you for all your hard work, we all know how life gets in the way of doing things we love at times. I love this forum and will be very happy to see it thrive again. Thanks to all the rest of the team too, we really appreciate what you do.

👏👏👏 Welcome back and thank you for all the hard work. GDA was once a great reference resource (still is for tour dates) and I know it will be again. The occasional support and interaction of the Green Day team made this place unique too. Fan message boards were my first introduction to the internet way back when and I still love having a place just for fans to connect and interact without all the other bullshit of scams, bots and trolls. I recently deleted my Facebook and backed away from the cesspool of most social media and I’ve been focusing back on the fan and special interest forum formats I once loved through Reddit and here. Still the best.

The Emptiness Machine is an amazing song and I love it to death. It has quickly become one of my favorite songs. I am still sad about Dilemma not winning though.

I mean, in all fairness, it is one of the best songs they’ve ever released.
