Have all of their music videos been self-funded this time around? I remember them saying something about TADIKM being self-funded since studios don't really pay for music videos anymore, and it seems like most of their MV's for this album have been pretty simple (minus Dilemma, which I thought was really well done)

One of my friends asked me if I knew Green Day was nominated for the VMA's and I was like "of course lol." Then he told me he was voting for them too. To my knowledge, he doesn't listen to Green Day. We have an ally, people!

Given that the deluxe just dropped earlier this year and the fact that they’ve mostly wrapped up touring my guess is 2027? I don’t think we’ll hear back until GD and their team are ready for another full album rollout. Thinking of festival runs, a headline tour, single promo and music video production, mostly in part to whoever they hired for this last rollout because they were WAY busier than any recent release as far as “rollout” goes. With that in mind, my guess will be 2027, once they’ve got all their ducks in a row for GD 15

I think they surprise us and have an album out in late 2026 early 2027 at the latest. Billie is always writing. With the success of Saviors and its tour I think we get an album in a similar time frame from Insomniac to Nimrod. In between a Warning 25th anniversary and a Saviors live album in full…Insomniac 30th I pray they do something but that’s also my favorite of theirs with their movie coming out it can tie in to Promotion of warning 25th and a live Saviors album.

I agree with @GreenDayJunkie86, I think it’ll be a while but I would love to know if Billie is writing like crazy with all that’s happening right now or if he’s blocking it out. He seems to be enjoying the break right now and am sure will want loads of family time for them all once this last leg is over.

When I saw this thread last night, I was like "they're already speculating album 15?!" omg really? Good times, that was when we were all kind of detectives and piecing together Saviors and 1972 lol. Fun fact, tho my profile says I joined in January 2024, I actually was on here way before then as a guest, just too shy and scared to comment lol. Now look at me, I can't shut my mouth lol. all jokes aside, it is still kinda too early to discuss album 15 for me. The boys have said we won't hear new things for a hot minute, and I am still celebrating the release of Saviors

Black-haired Billie will always be my favorite Billie. The blonde hair has grown on me a bit but only when it is darker blonde and fluffy!

This is why I never find cute, or adorable or romantic the videos of people doing marriage proposals during a Green Day concert I mean, I'm glad for the couples in the videos I've seen, because they seem happy and excited. But if it was me I'd be like "buddy, can't you see I'm in the middle of something here? we'll talk about this later"

Yeah but the pandemic created some very special circumstances. I'm sure there was a not a lot else to do for them to do (particularly Billie whose kids were already grown relative to Mike's and Tre's), other than write songs. So I wouldn't expect to hear anything about the new album next year. Some side project stuff maybe. Perhaps a couple of shows with PHGP in the east and west coast? their album came out during the Saviors tour, so they haven't got to play any of it live.
