I doubt that though. I've listened on Qobuz and it's two seperate releases, it would be really odd if the tracks called "25th Anniversary" would still be the original one. I think the difference is just very subtle
-
I'm glad there are no store exclusive variants this time.

Nice pfp đ Iâm still on the side of âthe title has changed but the audio wonât be updated until November 14thâ, partially due to the fact that it hasnât been uploaded on YouTube yet. I hope thatâs the case bc Iâd like to hear a bigger adjustment Maybe I need to listen more intently with actual headphones though! Or maybe someone can do a spectrogram or dynamic range comparison.
- Today
-
Ok I can't remember you shared a link. Hopefully will be available in Italy too like as usual
-
Theyâre going to promote it today. Just be patient.
-
I posted before for UK Amazon main site for vinyl, Amazon Music site for CD & mp3 Have ordered vinyl version, maybe will be noticeable against original vinyl release?
-
Maybe there's just some very minor adjustments related to clipping/dynamics going on "under the hood" or rather than the actual character of the sound (which is a good thing as I've always liked how Warning sounds), hence the minimal audible difference. I think there is SOMETHING, just extremely subtle. Would be interesting to measure the dynamic range, however I'm not really planning on purchasing any separate songs digitally right now as I'm awaiting the CD box set.
-
Where do you preorder it?
-
Green Day hasnât announced anything, yet I already pre-ordered something that doesnât seem to exist. Am I being scammed?
-
When they will make the announcement?
-
I tried to do an A/B test of the regular version and the remaster and I couldnât tell a difference. Granted I wasnât using my best headphones but normally I could tell some kind of difference. Supporting my theory that Warning needs neither a remix nor a remaster.
-
Okay green Day that's fine. Please take more of my money. I haven't even had my coffee yet and your hand is already in my pocket đ definitely getting the CD box set - looks cool! It comes out in November which is when I usually stop buying things for myself so my family have options for gifts.....I maaay have to break that rule for this lol
-
Youâre right, there is a difference and I misspoke, though my sentiment remains. Iâd be curious to hear what you find! Being that they are remasters I can see the differences being pretty minimal, though that also makes me question if the difference is only so slight, why NOT make a full on remix at that point? đ¤

Vinyl version just appeared on Amazon to pre-order @ ÂŁ121.99 ordered. Sorry @jengd forgot to mention CD version ÂŁ42.99 via Amazon Music
-
It's a remaster, not a "remix". There's only so much you can do with a remaster. There's a slight audible difference judging from a very quick sample, in the frequencies and perhaps stereo image but I gonna listen to it properly at higher volumes later.

Saviors songs that will get played beyond this tour...
GuitarPunk94 replied to Anarchist2112's topic in Green Day Chat
green day is one of those bands who have the "problem" of having too many lp's and too many hits they will ultimately have to dodge certain songs if they dont want to play those 2+ hour long sets metallica did well in playing those "2 nights 2 sets" shows, maybe that is something greenday should consider for their next tour this would give them more space to play certain hits at night 1 and 2, and make room for other hits that they dont play that often, or even some songs they barely play live (trilogy) the only saviors songs i could see them play regularly are: one eyed bastard and/or dilemma -

Honestly? Considering their setlist up until this point, I think the offerings might be pretty low to non existent. I think weâll likely get âDilemmaâ and âBobby Soxâ, maybe âOne Eyed Bastardâ if that. Though if you ask me personally Iâd vote for a Setlist overhaul and put âDilemmaâ, â1981â, and âSusie Chapstickâ for their acoustic portion -
Okay so Iâm a stickler for audio usually, but is there truly no discernible difference between the originals and these â25 remasters? For the life of me I canât hear much of a difference at all apart from the remixes seeming a bit more open-aired? Though Iâm lost on if thatâs my ear fatigue listening to the same clips of songs for comparison sake or if Iâm truly not hearing whatâs there As usual Iâm excited to hear the demos, and especially the Otis mixes but apart from that this seems lackluster compared to previous anniversary releases? Feels like there couldâve been more here

Safe to say that they're back to awful marketing? đ Strange how they haven't done anything to promote this, other than an IG/Facebook story and a youtube video
-
That's right still nothing. Nothing on main Amazon site either. Only Amazon Music has two options, pre-order CD version and Pre-order MP3 version and partial download album and one demo now.
-
It seems to be like weezerâs Blue 30 where the titles have been changed to include a remastered title, but the actual remastered audio doesnât release until the full blx set. Because I can vouch that these are legit 100% the exact same audio files at the moment. @ThranaM ^^
-
Sorry @ThranaM just main album ,12 remastered tracks+ Castaway demo available to buy MP3 from Amazon Music today. Other demos/live tracks for release November 14.
-
I agree with you on every point here. The live tracks are good, but to me the quality is so bad (low sounds and not clear enough) that I don't want to listen to them at all. Quite sad tbh, cause I love GDs live tracks..
