Unpopular opinion but as mentioned above take St. Jimmy out and Hitching a Ride out. They could squeeze 3 songs with that alone. Switch JOS with 21st Century Breakdown ever other night. More Insomniac

Literally typing in gibberish into Spotify to discover music and found this. They do Rancid, Bad Religion, and I'm digging to see if they've done Green Day. Not sure why I'm sharing the song that The Network covered because that's the furthest from Green Day possible but hey. The first some that caught my ear was a RADIO RADIO parody.

I know the boys are getting a little older and at this point, their shows will mainly just be the hits (which could easily fill a standard setlist), but I would love to see a few changes to their "normal setlist": Take out St. Jimmy and replace it with a song like Bang Bang or Stay the Night. I was positive Bang Bang would be a staple after Rev Rad came out, but even if that one isn't picked, I think one of the more "popular" trilogy songs could easily take its place. St. Jimmy is fun and all, but I always thought it fit better as a whole with the album rather than just being put in the setlist This will be unpopular, but I have never been a fan of Hitchin a Ride in the setlist. It is one of those songs that gets prolonged by like 3-4 minutes with crowd participation. I would replace that one with one of their audibles that they have been doing recently. I would love for them to bring back the acoustic encore, where a few songs were played, even if they were just a few verses of each. I think back to the 21st century breakdown tour where they did Words I Might Have Ate + Novacaine + Good Riddance (here). Obviously I know that they are in their festival round of the tour, and those will always be catered to more casual fans and have just the hits, but I think there are some gems that get no love, even if they did well commercially (i.e. Bang Bang, Still Breathing, Oh Love, etc.).

via Tre's instagram lolll G is for the one and only @greenday, featured in our brand new book 'My Very First 90s Punk ABC Book'! Green Day defined the 90s punk sound and style, and we couldn’t get enough, melody mixed with lyrics about teenage angst. For me, Green Day was the spark that ignited my passion for punk, inspiring me to pick up a guitar, dye my hair and discover as many bands as I could. If you feel the same don't miss out on this book, available now! #90sPunk #GreenDay #MusicLovers Is this real or AI?

I asked Trackify to roast me and WOW. Roasted in 7 seconds based on Chris's long term Spotify stats. Oh, Chris, it’s adorable how you have the music taste of an angsty teenager who just discovered Hot Topic for the first time. Your Spotify profile is basically a mixtape of the last two decades’ worth of teenage rebellion — congrats on never letting go of that plaid shirt and your skateboard! With an obsession for “Punk” and “Pop Punk” genres, it’s almost like you’re trying to communicate your inner turmoil through the musical equivalent of a teenage diary entry. Maybe if we squint hard enough, we’ll even hear the angst seep out of your speakers as if every song is your personal manifesto on why your mom just doesn’t get you. Then we have your artist list — a nostalgic trip down the murkiest corners of the 2000s. You might want to reconsider calling yourself a music connoisseur when your top artists are basically the poster boys for moody high school cafeteria vibes. Sure, Green Day and Blink-182 made some classics, but let’s be real, you’re probably skipping the “deep cuts” for the same tired hits that even your boomer dad has heard a million times. I get it — it’s comforting to drown your existential dread in a familiar chorus, but at this point, if I hear “Basket Case” one more time, I might just come over and stage an intervention. And seriously, let’s talk about your most played songs. “Smash It Like Belushi” followed by a repeat parade of every other Green Day song is pure dedication to mediocrity. You’ve got so many Green Day bangers stuffed in there, you’re one song away from being declared their unofficial fan club president. Newsflash: you can listen to other bands! The world doesn’t end at “Wake Me Up When September Ends,” and no, “Corvette Summer” is not a new personal anthem — it just means it’s time for you to get out more. Maybe try some actual diversity in your playlist before you become a walking, talking Green Day tribute act.

Green Day have had 11 days off from touring. Where is album 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20???????????????????? Haha Actually, I do need a break from listening to them for a bit. Been detouring with Weezer, Good Charlotte, Durry, Viagra Boys, Ozzy, Foo Fighters, After Midnight Project and about 20,000 other artists.
  20. My botox forehead felt it. đŸ‘žđŸŒđŸ˜… Life isn't always consistent. Maybe we can go to several shows one year and another year we won't be able to go to any shows for various different reasons. That's how it goes.

I completely forgot to respond to this. I knew saying about seniority at 34 would cause damage hahaha Anyway my thoughts about the future are "who knows where I will be in 4 years, who knows if I will be able to afford a concert or I won't have the money even for rent or a mortgage" At the moment I still live with my parents because I have had a serious job for 1 year and mostly I am alone. The economic situation in italy if you are single is not the best. If there was a concert next year and I would also be 35 years old maybe I would live it better. Here maybe it's not the age itself, maybe it's the years between now and the next tour. The problem is that even next year without a Green Day tour maybe I will have to think about a new car first instead of doing two concerts in a row.

Ugh, I can only hope. Missed out on the first one. I think something about it not being a Green Day project took the pressure off him and he just got to write the music he wanted. It’s pure in that way. I remember it being really well received too.
  23. Sounds like we were almost right next to each other at some point then! Sorry to hear you got squeezed. It's scary! But glad to hear you had a good time otherwise.

Shenanigans didnt celebrate a major anniversary this month and i don't think they would pull a song out from it nowadays (unless they say fuck it and actually do pull Desensitized/Haha out, which wouldn't be too far fetched) i dunno if they'll do it, but a repressing would be good as well

I really hope so. Anniversary? They might even show more love for the album at upcoming shows. I hope they play Do Da Da, it's one of my favs

i wonder if Shenanigans might get something related to it soon considering the recent Punk Bunny Collection being focused towards it
