Oddly enough, I was thinking the same thing.  GD is stepping on Billie's territory. 

I love Blondie though, so I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah exactly  And obviously the more songs the merrier and this week it’s three so there’s no reason to complain, it’s just that It’s not really much of a hype

Green Day is becoming a cover band. Billie realized it's even easier to not even have to write the songs.

I hope the energy was so high while recording this that they also tackled "CALL ME" by Blondie as well.   

I can just hear Green Day nailing that one.

So by “coming out everywhere”, they mean it will be available on streaming sites. So I’d say it’s sort of a single.

Listening now and it has both a Green Day style sound and lyrical content.   

I'd like to see them do a really 80's looking video to go with it.    

 

Currently listening to random Blondie songs and being amazed that Debbie Harry is 74 years old - WOW!

Do you think after Billie had his first solo hit doing these covers Mike and Tre got spooked and realized they better get off their asses and participate in these? 😄 Whatever the reason I’m glad they decided to get on board.
