  1. Out of the blue my mom texts me "hey...does Green Day have a song called Underdog?" She just saw the Nat geo ad! 😆 She said she recognized Billie's voice and was like I don't know that Green Day song!! Love that she knows Billie's name and recognizes his voice but refers to Mike and Tre as Mike Dirt and the other one...Mr Cool? 😆

  2. Billie when the kid played Wonderwall instead of Good Riddance 😂😂😂 He’s had so many mishaps I’m surprised he still lets people up to do that. What a sport https://www.instagram.com/reel/DLimKjTt1d4/?igsh=MWxleDd6cnRtOGw1MA==

  3. Am I the only one who thinks that this whole Wonderwall “incident“ is being blown massively out of proportion? BJ laughed it off, Liam wrote a silly tweet about it, that’s it. Now I’m seeing all these posts that turn it into a something big, which it really wasn’t. Why do we have to take everything so damn seriously, and why do people get angry about literally everything? 😅

  5. Billie posting that for the fans he met is one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen. I feel like I fall in love with him all over again all the time because of stuff like this. He’s the best. Favorite human.

  8. Can't believe the Good Riddance thing has had this much attention. I posted my video thinking it was harmlessly funny, but I kind of wish I hadn't now because yes, it's been blown out of proportion. The kid is 14. It was very obvious he was nervous and there was possibly a language barrier. Even if it was intentional trolling, it was funny and didn't come across as anything more. Billie wasn't angry and I think most fans were glad it meant they got to hear Billie playing it 😂 It was also funny when someone held up a sign in Amsterdam and Billie read it, then said 'I'M playing Good Riddance.' Didn't we all do stupid shit at 14?

  11. After yesterday‘s show I needed to come here. I don’t have photos right now. But if you see some you’ll have to appreciate the short sleeves! And the shirt in itself was great with the print Rage and Love on the back! Besides I liked Billie‘s hair, reminded me of the 21CB era, just in blonde… And Mike in red looked fantastic too!

  13. It’s the same for me. I have two (or maybe three) all time favorite bands that I follow even more closely than the other artists I listen to because I discovered them as a teenager and they have profoundly shaped my music taste and maybe even my personality a little bit. I listen to a lot of other bands too, but whenever a Green Day concert is approaching, I literally get nervous, even if I haven’t been to that many shows. There’s just a level of excitement I cannot quite reach with other bands and it’s a bit like a drug. You want to feel that excitement over and over again. Unfortunately, all of my favorite bands are a lot older than me, so if I stay healthy, there will be a time in my life without them. That’s why I hope that the break between tours won’t be too long 😂.

  14. It will be a long time until the next tour, or at least feel it, and we are all insatiable for new music and more tours. At least we can come here and sympathise with each other during the drought.

  15. Ah, post show depression. Save for next tour is my only advice but many here feel your pain. 🤟🏾💚

  18. That was a fun show! Never thought I'd hear I Was There again. That was probably the highlight although Bobby Sox is always a highlight. I also feel like people on social media are overreacting about the Good Riddance guy. It was obviously silly to go up when he didn't know the song well enough to play under pressure, but it was funny! Billie laughed it off. Hardly some unforgivable act of disrespect. At least we got to hear Billie playing it

  19. Green Day really need a song that starts with Z. There are some common words that begin with the letter. Zoo. Zippydoda. Zippo. Zealot. Zebra. Zigzag. Zany. Zin. Zeros. Zoom. If Green Day don't have a Z song drop by 2027, I'm going to be very angry with them. 😄

  20. I think the majority of fans at a GD concert are mostly fans who know Westbound Sign and Haishkina and would love for album cuts. I don’t know if the band realizes that but when the play Brat, Stuart and the Ave, Scattered, Armatage Shanks, Worry Rock, parts of Redundant in the encore listen the fans sing along and go crazy same with Disappearing boy and one of my lies I just think they underestimate the fans love of their album tracks. Is just like to see them not just play the same stuff over and over on the 21st Century Breakdown tour they’d play album Cuts and at the time Drama Queen which was unreleased as well as Olivia and Minnesota Girl. I wish they’d understand how loved those songs are. Even Last Nigh On Earth gets a great response and that somehow wasn’t a single Murder City got good responses too. It’s wild how many deep cuts never have been played live. They should do their own era’s tour

  22. Yes! It's the first time I see an organizer actually take into account fans' feedback or try to support the fan-organized queue numbering system. Really 10/10 for the two Vienna shows. The merch is okay. I'm still pissed that they sell so many VIP tickets that the only way to get first row is with a VIP ticket though 🙄 Great for me since I can afford it and still queue. Not fair to the fans who cannot afford it though.

  24. It's one of the phone messages that's already been linked here but I remember it, it wasn't to the record label it was a message to update the fans on their progress with the next album. He was saying how they had a bunch of songs but that they weren't going to put out anything they weren't happy with. Then the messages stopped for a while and next thing they talked about was American Idiot. It's cool to listen in order you definitely hear that transition period from Warning to C&V to AI.

  25. Not the brightest bulb in the box is he? And ofc why would he volunteer to be picked if he knew he couldn't play the song and also didn't want to embarrass himself?

  37. I think casual fans, concert goers expect well-known Green Day songs, so they don't complain about the playlist. Many don't know songs like Westbound Sign or Wow That's Load. In that respect, as most of bands, they can't make a big change. But to be honest, I'd love to have them refresh the playlist and throw some deep cuts.

  38. Evidence? Look, Spider-Dead, if I had evidence, it wouldn't be an "I think" situation, now would it? (read it in John Cleese's voice) No, there's not a ton of musical evidence to support STN as a C&V-era song. Of course, if evidence were required to support theories, we wouldn't still be trying to convince Gen-X that the earth isn't flat. It's just a feeling I've had since the second-ish time I heard the song.

  39. If they could please come to Denver and play Stay the Night, I'd die. Thanks. Yes, I know it's kind of a Letterbomb rehash musically (not the last time they did that), but that and Let Yourself Go are a couple of the best straight-forward rock songs Green Day has pulled out to date. The guitar solo in Let Yourself Go sounds like something off of a modern-day Chuck Berry album and it's beautiful. FWIW, Stay the Night is one of those tracks that I think may have originally been meant for C&V and wound up revisited for Uno. Single best song of the Trilogy right there.

  41. The last few days I collected recordings and created a multicam video for this show. Notes: Some song transitions are missing since every single song was recorded, but not all transitions. The audio is uncut. Audio from "Blitzkrieg Bop" comes straight from the original video. https://youtu.be/RTR2Cl2qDDc Pre-YouTube download: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/13MdfQVwBJc7d2tGOrgU9cFsDfXJq-WPz?usp=sharing

Now you get emails about buying fuckin coffee and come spend your money on our corporation amd anything we put out. I feel like this change happened With the american idiot broadway show Era right?

  44. I know. It would be a mess. 🤭 That guy wasn't the brightest. Someone in line asked him if he had been to Anne Frank's house while in Amsterdam and he asked who, looked real confused and started to Google. At that point - mixed with people smoking cigarettes and weed I was like let me into the venue already. 😩 The moshpits find you! Embrace it.👸🏼 Honestly though, the mosh pits in Oslo looked harsh. Kudos to you. 💕 In Amsterdam no one was pushing where I was standing so I was dancing and had a cup of water infront of my legs without any problems. 🤭 Glad you had a good time. 🩷 This show had a good vibe in my experience too. Agreed! It's so much fun to stand next someone who get's excited when they play older songs and all of you sing a long to every word. Yuck. Sweaty dudes is the worst. Taking your shirt of in the middle of a crowd is just nasty. Same here. Don't want it to be over. 🥺 I like other bands too but there's something about bands that you've grown up with. I've read that bands you listen to as a teen can have a lasting impact on you and can also connect with you as you grow older. I feel like that's true for Green Day. I like a lot of other bands too and I go to several shows when they tour as well, but it isn't the same feeling. This fanbase is overall nice too. With other bands there's a lot of weird stuff going on both online and at shows - there's assholes in this fanbase too sure but it cannot be compared to other bands and their fans.
