  1. EEEEEEE!!!! y'all the meet n greet was SO fast. The guys were so nice but didn't make conversation that much bc time me thinks. Billie said "you have my dog on your shirt!" I laughed and said he should bring the longshot back, we took the picture and I was out the room. I think they brought us to the pr room so the energy in there was so chaotic. Me and my brother were cheesing when we got back to our seats. He got a fist bump from Mike! The set was so fun! same ol songs but I was in need of a concert so I enjoyed it so much.

  5. So… hey fellas my tickets come with a meet and greet with THEBAND. I plan on wearing that longshot shirt with Lenny on it 😛 hope I amuse Billie with that ahhhhHH

  6. I would absolutely love something like 21st Century Breakdown again just one more time in their career. The incredible production, the wide variety of instruments and arrangements, Billie Joe's vocal range, etc etc etc. An unbelievable record start to finish. How did that come to be? The band feeling adventurous after American Idiot? Warner/Reprise asking them for an epic follow up to American Idiot? Butch Vig's touch?

  10. @Dingle I have such envy for those who saw them anywhere during AI…but Milton Keynes… fabulous, lucky you. Favourite era, got to be 21CBD (anyone who visits the fangirl thread will know I just adore that era when Billie wore the stiped pants 🔥🔥🔥) and AI which I can’t choose one over the other. Going with Saviors too as it’s been a great tour , Billie is aging better than fine wine and it’s been great to see them all looking well and loving the tour.

  11. Here's a really old photo you don't see around. It's from an Australian magazine from when Green Day appeared at the HMV Studios in Sydney on 8 February 1996. https://www.instagram.com/p/DTYK-fCDYq7/?igsh=MW84Yzh5eTVzcGwxYg== My daughter has painstakingly been scanning all this for me this last week and deserves a medal!

  13. This one's not such a rare photo but kinda funny. A poster from AstroGirl (a teen entertainment magazine) from the American Idiot era. "Stargazing with Green Day" You might think I possessed this poster because my daughter wanted to be an astronaut but no, it was just part of the collection https://www.instagram.com/p/DTf0Ccagh_i/?igsh=czhiN2l0bWVoM2dl

  14. A great misheard lyric courtesy of my sister and nephew: "Coffee and cyanide for llamas in disgrace"!🤣 She asked me one day, what did the llamas ever do to Billie? I was like what?! She then explained how they had misheard the lyrics in 1981 and had to Google them. I now sing llamas instead of lovers because once you hear it, you can't unhear it! You're all welcome!😉😅

  18. My favorite miss heard lyric is from Nuclear Family, where instead of hearing "I just want some action so give me my turn" I hear "I just want some action so give me Mike Dirnt"

  19. Totally random misheard lyric but in Android, I used to think 'it keeps my head spinning around' was 'it keeps my husband in the ground' 🙃

  21. For me, it was definitely seeing them at Riot Fest. I camped out at the stage since 11:15 am, but the barrier was already claimed by Green Day fans (The festival opened at 11)! I became super dehydrated to the point of my cheeks sinking into my face. I moshed until I felt like I had to puke. It was the most glorious time I’ve ever had at a Green Day show. It was also great to be there on my own and not have to worry about anyone and if they were having a good time. 100% would do it again. I’d do it tomorrow.

  22. My personal highlights were the nights when I stayed up to watch live-streamed shows with everyone, like the Fire Aid show. Those days were fun . Wow, two days until 2026......

  23. I'd usually encourage any Green Day fan with the means to do the 'pilgrimage' to do it. It's an incredible experience. Of course I have an article for that, too https://atlasandacamera.com/2025/01/29/green-day-landmarks/ But yeah, but the vibes aren't amazing right now, even in California. It'll be a better experience when things change.

  24. Wow, had to find my scrawled notes to get total. But hay, thanks loads. I've just been on an emotional rollercoaster reliving all those amazing live show memories. Kerplunk tour 3. Dookie 7 Insomniac 0 (If memory correct only I show in Brixton, when I trashed my motorbike and broke me leg. lol). Nimrod 5 Reading festival 2 (don't really like festivals) Warning 2 AI 6 (including trip abroad to Amsterdam, and found heaven at Milton Keynes) T in the Park, Scotland. 21st Century Breakdown 6 (Wembley Stadium, oh shit, back in heaven again) Trilogy 1 Rev Rad 5 Hela Mega Tour 1 Saviors 4 (including memorable surprise show at Marquis pub in London, as was in town for Saviors promo 2 days later, but was cancelled as band members where sick. I remember being so sad and worried until got news they would be ok, thanks to update on here). Download Festival 1. 42 in total I think. Thanks for the journey GD. Oh shit, the missus has just come in the room, tears running down me face. 😂

  25. NFL being my favourite sport with NHL, I can't wait to see this. Biggest sport in America, Green Day will get fucking mainstream and everywhere if they tell the piggy POTUS to stay quiet on stage. Would be so cool to call him and ICE.

  27. i absolutely love 21cbd billie as well!!! the outfits he wore in and around that era make me wanna steal his closet . i also love all blonde billie eras, so of course 90's and saviors era goes up there too. i can't decide what goes 1st or 2nd or 3rd, so i'll leave it at that... and runner up is fbht billie, mainly for the outfits ❤️

  28. What an amazing question, but so so difficult to answer. There's so many times to choose from, this band's live shows and Billie Joe's songwriting has been so consistent and awesome over past 30+ years. First has to be when I fell in love with GD through Kerplunk and seeing them live for first time at Wigan in Dec' '91. Of the many live shows I've been to, two I'll never forget, 21st Century Breakdown tour at Wembley Stadium and AI tour at Milton Keynes. 2=

  29. Another misheard lyric courtesy of my dad. He thought the 'woahhh-oh Christian's Inferno' during the chorus was 'woahhh-oh big shit inferno'. The worst thing is I can hear it now 😂

  31. Check out the GDA roundup of this year's highlights! https://www.greendayauthority.com/news/6272/ What was YOUR personal highlight? Mine was hearing Suzie Chapstick live, but the bits of Stay the Night and Redundant acoustic that we got in Vienna were close seconds.

  34. i actually got into them through my best friend and some other people. his favourite band has been green day for a long time, so i asked a few friends online for some suggestions. the first three green day songs i ever listened to were dilemma, east jesus nowhere, and longview.

  36. I don’t expect word on anything new from Green Day for at least 18 months but Billie did speak about trying to get Pinheaded Gunpowder together for some shows I think.

  37. You and all recent new members to join us are most welcome. The GD journey started in '80's, now in it's 5th decade. And the band is still going strong attracting new fans allowing GD into their lives, and we get to share their love for GD on here. Aren't we the lucky ones. ❤️

  38. Rather lose sleep over a thought like that than something negative. 😄 My first place would also be the 21st CB Billie, as in the 21st CB video! Second place would be the classical American Idiot Billie; the level of iconicness is umatched. Third place for me would be the trilogy Billie, mostly because "¡Tre!" Has been my favorite album for years and I really enjoy the trilogy-aesthetic. :'D

  44. Bobby Sox was a grower for me too. I went from feeling completely indifferent to it, to it being one of my favorites from the album. It gives me that nostalgic vibe of reminding me of my first love. And I actually like FOAM. It's not among my favorites, but every now and then I get really into it for a few days. I don't know if it is because I only listened to it years after it came out and in a moment when I had no expectations, for good nor for bad, about the band's new material (I listened to it for the first time a couple of days before the small show in Paris in the Saviors promo tiny tour)

  45. If I remember correctly Billie said that 21st CB is one of his favorite albums, but that the majority of the songs reminds him of being drunk, tired and having mental problems during that time, and that's why they don't play anything of that reord, besides KYE, 21 guns and Murder City obviously.. I can't see that we're gonna get a new album like this again 😕 I really hope that they go beyond their "comfort zone" and just put out a album with variety, all from acoustic songs to ballads to short and fast songs or anything in between

  46. I was there (running away from the train 😂) but I wasn't involved in creating the video. I do have loads of photos of the sunrise at Christie Road that I haven't posted yet though. There's also the Tre Edition of the landmarks tour which takes you up to Mendocino and I did that on my last trip. I'll write an article about it eventually! You're very welcome! I hope you can do it one day. Glad to hear it! There's also this post that I wrote about my own experience of doing the tour if you're interested. https://atlasandacamera.com/2025/07/20/welcome-to-paradise/
