Moffie Posted September 22, 2010 Share Posted September 22, 2010 The beginning is pretty cool. I kinda miss the original but it's good. I really enjoyed the debate of AI vs 21CB in terms of the strength of their songs. My favorite song off of AI is Whatsername and it's such a strong ending for me but I have to agree that the first part of AI is stronger in comparison with the first part of 21CB. Add 21CB's strong qualities are a little all over the place. Like, I fucking love Viva La Gloria? (Little Girl) and it stood out to me the most (besides East Jesus Nowhere) but Christian's Inferno is....eh and I'm part of the minority that really likes See The Light but it's easily forgotten. Good debate, guys! There's this pattern going on in the podcast. It's like, "*grumblegrumble* Yeah! *grumble* I agree." Alex has a quiet voice, Andres seems to brighten it up and Matt seems distracted. It's just quiet but yay, J'net's gonna be on next week! Around 27 minutes, it sounds like Alex is messing with the volume or something. It was just odd. Good close-out and very nice cover made by some random pre-teen! You guys all have really good knowledge about that sort of stuff, and I would love to hear you do some more discussions like that in future episodes (maybe an idea more for when there is no news). Letterbomb is the best song they've ever made, Whatsername is the greatest album closer I've ever seen, and you still have Homecoming, Give Me Novacaine/She's a Rebel, and Wake Me Up. 1st Half only really has JOS and Are We the Waiting/St. Jimmy for me. (Wait, good is not a good word, but I cannot say better ) Absolutely liked this episode. I totally fell in love with the 16th episode's opening song. Honestly, I'm not a kind of disco rat, but I really love it. Curse me calmly, I'm kinda "resistive". Would it be possible to make a mix from it?
