So glad I didn't stay up last night waiting. And now the site doesn't even say it's gonna be available today anymore. There is no download date.

Hey, does anyone know if u can download the tracks in the UK from amazon or if there is anywhere else i will be able to get them? I'm gettin desperate to here them now, think i'm gonna self destruct if i don't here them soon.

downloads from amazon.com are US only - CD can be bought and shiped (credit card)

lets hope they surface somewhere - someone has to make that happen

Why am I confused about this? Right, I just ordered a copy of the CD from Amazon but now I believe it's not out for another few weeks? So it's just the downloads that are available to all you lucky Americans today?

The download thing has totally gone off amazon. No date that says '8th April' its all very strange indeed.

Well it made no difference to us Laura33 as it was only the States that could get the download anyway, besides the day isnt over it could happen later today for them.

So I called Amazon.com's support, and they tried telling me that the only thing available was the CD on the 29th. I then gave THEM the link for the mp3's, where it says it was available as of March 19th. I tried telling them (though nicely) how horrible it was for it to say the 8th, and then take it down. That I was really upset... meanwhile, they forwarded the request on to the department that does all the uploading and the guy said "they will be uploading it at the most in 2-3 business days, as the procedure takes time". Well the procedure doesn't take that long, but I guess for a large company with many requests. Anyway, this is to assume that it wasn't a mistake on Amazon's part, and that they even have the rights to release the songs before the 29th (if that IS the real date....). If it doesn't go up for download, just cause the guy specificially told me that they would be uploaded, I'll call back and give 'em grief.

I know its not the guy on the phone's fault, and worst case scenario the web developers made a mistake, but you can't play with a Green Day fan's heart. I've waited for this day lol I want the tunes!

I wasn't quite sure about this to begin with, I mean the website still keeps saying 'coming soon'. Surely if it was to be released today they would have had the date and link and everything? At least we know something anyway, I suppose

Well there was a date on the site till today, it was a green button looking that that said "Album Release, April 8, 2008" or something like that.

TOO bad the amazon download works only in the US ,unlike ordering the physikal release (wihich btw is cheaper for Europeans,shipment and all,than to by over here)

I just got back from the local record shop, where I picked up my Mother Mary vinyl, and they still have no date anywhere on their lists of when the album, in any form, comes out.
