Haven't listened to the whole podcast yet, but Ordinary World and Devil's Kind were the two songs he actually played in the movie.  I think the song in the credits was called Body bag.

Devil's Kind and Body Bag were in the credits. Ordinary World is just played in the movie.

Devils Kind was in the movie.  It was played in the flashbacks.

Yup, it's also the first song played in the credits. Body Bag is played right after. Ordinary World is only played in the movie. 

I'd like to hear more of Body Bag, I remember liking it

OK, you made it sound like Devils Kind wasn't played in the movie.  Yes Body Bag sounded good.  I wish he had played it live.  Honestly, I could care less what he played, I just wish he had played more than 5 songs.

Green Day's albums have always had a more "live" and raw sound to them. I think that changed in the Trilogy and probably is why they didn't sound as good.
