Karl Karlson Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 It would be nice if anyone could explain who they are and what they are doing? I have no clue what's going on with that.
Guest Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 It would be nice if anyone could explain who they are and what they are doing? I have no clue what's going on with that. As far as I can tell, some band that no one has ever heard of is going to do a livestream of them playing some acoustic Green Day covers and talking bollocks. Yay?

DookieLukie Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 I really hate female rock singers (except Hayley Williams).

Yay? Well, since you're not in the US, it doesn't surprise me you haven't heard of them.
James! Posted April 10, 2014 Author Posted April 10, 2014 Well, since you're not in the US, it doesn't surprise me you haven't heard of them. I'm not us;)? I've heard of them;)
Sanity Loan Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 I take the claim on giving them the idea in the first place. https://twitter.com/TheDollyrots/status/450126970240507904
greendaytone Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Saw them at 1-2-3-4 Go Records once, enjoyed them, thought she was a good female lead. Stageit is pretty cool too.

And maybe more to be added soon :)
desertrose Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 they were giving away this cool poster, anyone go? thedollyrots 2 days ago Behold! The vintage Green Day poster we're giving away on @stageit 2moro! Hit up http://bit.ly/drotgrndy to join us!
Sanity Loan Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 I attended the show. It was ok. Supposedly they were playing poorly to imitate Billie Joe at iHeart: https://twitter.com/TheDollyrots/status/459105061797646336 I ended up being the #3 tipper so I'm not sure what I'll get. I think the poster went to the #1 tipper.
James! Posted April 25, 2014 Author Posted April 25, 2014 http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tWR-s1osdHQ It's now here if you want to watch it again or missed it
Z J Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Sounds like freaking amateur hour, there is absolutely nothing good about them. Neither can sing really. The harmonies were a mess. I've heard better singers get cut from high school musical auditions.
Shondells Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 I watched this live and it was a shame they let the 'between songs banter' go on for so long that they ran out of time! Also I was hopeful of some of the more obscurer songs getting an outing (they alluded to the fact they'd play songs off of Kerplunk and 1,039 etc) but a lot of Dookie was aired. That aside, it was pretty cool and I even bought a Dollyrots album too (which I really dug). I recorded the set (not great quality unfortunately) and it was: One Of My Lies Basketcase When I Come Around F.O.D. Westbound Sign She Minority Macy's Day Parade American Idiot Let Youself Go (incomplete - they ran out of time)

The StageIt shows aren't exactly for casual fans.
Shondells Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Yeah, I get that dude - wasn't really complaining, just wanted to see them do more Green Day. It was a neat thing :-)
James! Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Would love to see/hear what you recorded, if possible. I posted a link ^^ up their of the video I have also ripped the audio into tracks, BT don't know how to upload
Iva Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Now I see it. Thank you. To upload, you can use a service such as http://mega.co.nz, the one this board is using for all of its downloads.
