Had a dream that I found a copy of the National Enquirer on my mom's dresser that had Billie on the cover.  It was dated 2006, but the picture was definitely 2012.  The story had something to do with Tre, but the real world garbagemen chose to wake me up before I could read it.

I think it is just the fact of having Billie present in an intimate space and thus feeling close to him. Also, since I love Billie/Green Day and they are important to me, having them around is comforting.

I get that. I say "goodnight, boys.  I love you" to my GD posters every night and "bye, boys. I love you" when I leave my room in the morning. It's just... why would you want that in the bathroom?

Talking to them is so cute. ❤️ I have posters in my office that I sometimes talk to LOL. Don't have any yet in my bathroom, mostly because I am not the only person who uses the bathroom LOL. Why the bathroom? Not sure I have a hard answer. Maybe just because it is perhaps the most intimate of spaces, like I could be my most uncensored self there and have Billie there (at least symbolically) and not have to feel any shame, like being fully accepted even during the most unglamorous moments.

I for one haven't had any GD dreams recently and it makes me sad. I miss my dream Billie. Yeah, he can be weird and kinda disturbing at times, but I still love him and want him to return to me.

Had another Billie sex dream last night, but as usual I can't remember most of it.

I guess I was so excited that Billie's back that I was stimulated to dream about him again last night after months of nothing. Here it is:

I was with someone, maybe from GDC, and walked into a room in a small building that was like a common area and Billie was sitting in a chair reading a paper. I saw him and immediately turned around and left the room, whispering “Oh shit! It’s Billie!” I did not want to bother him, but he had already seen me I’m sure, so I tried to compose myself and reentered the room and very meekly said hi. My friend and I started talking to him and he was, of course, incredibly nice. He looked like he did in the selfie/pic he posted in his return to Instagram. I turned away for some reason and when I turned back, he did not have a beard anymore and I was happy about that (I must have subconsciously willed it away ).

   We talked for quite awhile about various things like the news and asshole billionaires and the GOP. We got to know him personally a little bit and started visiting him regularly. One day, I was outside and found a bunch of mushrooms growing on a hillside that I was excited about. I told my friend “I wonder if there are mushrooms in Billie’s yard too. Let’s go find out.” So we went to look for him and there were a lot of people around and we were trying to spot him. We went up to someone from the neighborhood and asked “Do you know where Billie is?” They replied “Yeah. He had to go do an emergency surgery on an animal.” I was super impressed that Billie had yet another advanced skill and was about to mention to my friend ‘can you imagine, looking back to AI era, that Billie would eventually be performing surgeries?’ but I didn’t. I also thought ‘Oh good. That means he will be back. We can go see him tomorrow.’

 

I never thought veterinarian Billie would be a thing, but it happened! 🤔 Wtf, brain!

Had a dream that Tony Kanal from No Doubt quit the band to become a fashion designer.  He was having a fashion show at a church (there was something in there about a Costco as well), and while he was walking down the aisle, Tre tackled him and Billie threw things at them.

I got to hug Billie in my dream last night and it was so wonderful!  I got to wrap my arms around his chest and hold him tight and he reciprocated the hug because I knew him and we were friends.

Unlike most reports of people meeting him, he was actually a little taller in this dream than I expected. We always talk about him being so petite and short, but he's definitely still taller than I am in real life (not by much, though).

Awww, this sounds like the cutest dream ever. What did he feel like LOL?

I had one last night in which I was holding onto his arm while we were walking next to each other. It was muscular, but not over the top. He had short sleeves so I could see his tattoos.

I've been having such a terrible time right now and it's been so nice having Billie in my dreams this frequently. He seems to be the thing that my brain goes to when I need comfort most.

That sounds so sweet. Did he happen to smell like anything LOL? And I am sorry to hear you are having a tough time, but I am glad the dreams have been a comfort.

Had a dream that Kevin and Tre were on an episode of L&O SVU. I was debating whether or not to watch, since I haven't watched in years, but how could I not with them on it? I had finally decided to watch, but there were numerous tvs on in the room, all tuned to different channels. Then the dream switched to being a party at Kevin's (now the second dream I've had that was a party at his place), and I was ignoring all the guests because I was desperately trying to find a bowl so I could eat cereal (cause that's what you do at a party). It ended with Kevin and his wife getting into a fight and escorting everyone out. Never did get my cereal.

So last night I had this dream that I was with Billie in what was apparently his house in Oakland. He looked the way he did in the Warning era, slightly chubby with short blonde hair. We were in this big dining room and then went out onto this big deck where we could see over the bay and see parts of the San Francisco skyline (it was evening). Things felt like they were about to go in *that* direction but then the dream switched and Billie and I were walking around on a sidewalk in New York City, like midtown heading south, on a very sunny summer day LOL.
