Awesome as Fuck

I think people just don't like his self-aggrandizement during BIAB. You don't put stuff about yourself in a film that you directed. LOL.

Otherwise, I liked BIAB's editing. Gives the show a frenetic, crazy feel, which captures the energy of a show pretty well.

Like others have said, I'm really excited to see how this is going to compare to BIAB. Sam Bayer did a good job, but it will be interesting to see if a new director can bring a different kind of vibe and show our boys in a new light.

guys, is confirmed that the dvd is om one of the gigs of Tokyo?

All the japanise gigs was good, from 2009 and 2010, but I really like see the Osaka Castle Hall (January 21) as DVD. NGFL with ramdom lyrics FTW

Am I the only one that doesn't see the banner on YouTube?

I'm pretty sure they took it down the same day everyone saw it.

I'm pretty sure they took it down the same day [sHOULD THERE BE A COMMA HERE OR NOT I DON'T GET THE SENTENCE] everyone saw it.

No, there should not be a comma in there. It's why there is no comma in there.

I still hope they'll edit his voice a little bit for the DVD because it sounds so bad/weak compared to the other tours... =/

No doubt in mind, they will reenforce it a little.

It'll sound great either way though.

but not ~everyone saw it so the sentence wouldn't make sense

If you go down that road; it wouldn't make sense either with comma either then, because not ~everyone saw that the banner was removed. :rolleyes:

Or: "they took it down the day that everyone who saw it, saw it".

Seeing what's being discussed.. what would be better:

Green Day, Awesome as Fuck.. or Awesome as Fuck, Green Day?

:rolleyes::lol:

obviously the one with the question mark

Also I've just realized if they show you in the crowd you'll be in both! They've gotta dew it!

Here's hoping! :)

My understanding is the footage will be taken from their 2 nights in Tokyo Saitama Super Arena, 23rd and 24th Jan.

Seeing what's being discussed.. what would be better:

Green Day, Awesome as Fuck.. or Awesome as Fuck, Green Day?

:rolleyes::lol:

I prefer... Green Day, Awesome as Fuck :happy:

How about Awesome As, Fuck Green Day :o

I thought his voice sounded better than ever this tour, personally.

I'm glad they chose the tokyo shows.

It was a little after I saw them so the whole show ~layout will be the same-ish :happy:

Not forgetting that the super long "hey oh" is always towards the end of the concert, when he has already sang his lungs out for over 2 hours. There aint nothing wrong with Billies voice!

Yeah! And he isn't even out of breath AT ALL after that hey-oh, it's like it was no effort. He has an amazing set of lungs on him. And his singing's been more beautiful and diverse than ever on this tour.

Maybe he meant this (=Tokyo) show, not this tour... His voice was effing great this tour.

Not gonna lie, when I saw them live I was pretty amazed by how he sang. He sounded way better than in previous tours, specially during the long Hey-Oh's, he would hold that note 12387632478x times better than years before, his voice didn't even crack a little bit. With all the running and singing, I was surprised that no one brought an oxygen tank onstage (I would have needed it, and I'm 16 years younger than him! :lol: )

[The word 'but' doesn't belong at the beginning of a sentence.] but not ~everyone saw it [There should probably be a period here for this to make sense, meaning the next word would be capitalized.] so the sentence wouldn't make sense [Periods always go at the end of sentences.]

No. There should not be a comma there. Don't incorrectly correct me on my grammar. Thanks

His voice was a bit weak on the LNOE video, but it's an acoustic song and it's emotional and all, I don't think there should be a problem in a song like 2000 light years away.

:lol: oxygen tank! That reminds me-- my friend and I were talking about how good Billie sounds live and how he isn't gonna stop playing 'til he's an old fogy. He'll probably have an oxygen tank on stage but that wont stop him from running all over the stage!

but seriously, the man has some killer vocals!
