The first 5 episodes of part 1 aired March 2nd and covered such topics as the beginnings of rhythm and blues, Elvis and Buddy Holly, The Beatles, the Vietnam War, and Southern soul music. Here are tonight's episodes: "My Generation" "Guitar Heroes" "The 70's" "Punk" "Underground" Green Day will be placed in the "Punk" category along with the Ramones, Iggy Pop, the Sex Pistols, the Clash, Nirvana, and others starting at 11p ET. Here's a link to the commercial that features a split second clip of Billie Joe, as well as what sounds like the drum intro to Armatage Skanks. also, Fuse posted a 30 second clip of Green Day playing Longview on their Facebook page.
