RAWR515 Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Hey, i was jsut reading off a website and found abit of interesting news, sorry if this has been posted or i am posting it in the wrong section or watever but i just wanted to share it woth you guys."The video takes place in a dimly-lit basement unit of a house in Berkeley, California that the band used to live in. The band members say that the look was intentionally grungy. In the video, lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong is shown sitting on a couch watching television, before going insane and tearing up the couch later in the video. A few moments before filming started, the news of Kurt Cobain's death broke and Armstrong learned of it while sitting there watching TV"Just the part of Kurt Cobain, and the footage of Billie watching the TV when they announced his death, was used in the video, i think its the part before the monkey steals his key based on the lyrics, "i locked the door to my own cell and i lost the key"Just thought i'd share it

KURT COBAIN DIED! ".

He definitely was going to tear that up whether Kurt died or not.As far as the rest of what you're saying, I really don't know. That sure is interesting if they filmed him first getting the news, though my kneejerk reaction is that that probably isn't likely.

I remember reading that they filmed a guy who pretended that he was masturbating, but it all became so awkward that they didn't use the clips
